Loratab?

My dealer's friend asked me if I wanted to try a Loratab the other night and I told her I'd get back to her on it after I research it a little. I tried to find it on erowid but didn't know what the active ingredient was.. is it oxycodone? If anyone could share some info or experiences with this drug I'd appreciate it.

Well I did some more extensive googling on it and found out that the active ingredient is Hydrocodone. Percocet also has hydrocodone in it. When I broke my hand awhile back I was actually prescribed 500 mg pills of hydrocodone and tripped balls on it everytime I took it. I saw a walrus who told me he had to eat me, marionette puppets dancing in front of a sunset, heard a santa mask talk to me, and imagined werewolves outside my bedroom. I also drew a gigantic wall mural in my old bedroom while trippin. No reason to buy one from her since I still have about 8 left on my old Rx.

Why do people insist they 'trip' off a couple low-dose vicodin (or lortab in this case)?
It is important to note that you most definately did not get pills with 500mg of hydrocodone, it was likely 5mg hydrocodone and 500mg APAP.

ignorance is bliss, where did you get that percocet has hydrocodone, it has oxycodone

always eat a little something (bread) when you take any hydrocodone or oxycodone, or it can make you nauseated, and drink lots of water

it's really not that hard, take 10 mg (2 of the 5's), and if that's not enough after 30 minutes take 2 more....i take 20 mg at a time...the 500 mg definitely is tylenol (ACETAMINOPHEN, abbreviated APAP) if you ever see ASA, it means aspirin, i.e. fioricet is BUTALBITAL/ASA/CAFFEINE

oxycodone is more addictive, and i find that i can personally take a lot more of it than i can hydrocodone without getting sick, up to about 70-80 mg for me...though don't use that as advice because everyone reacts drastically different to different doses of oxycodone...

Fuck,i take like 5 -7 tens at a time.Sometimes i get worried about all the acetaminophen though.I won't even fuck with the fives,id have to eat like 15.Godamn opiates.Hydros are an alcohol aid.Now oxys on the other hand.....

Oh well, I know what I thought I saw... not really a hallucination but something weird. Call it a lie or whatever you want. And I don't remember where I read the active ingredient was hydrocodone, some website. I was just hoping someone could give me advice on the pill, not get hostile. Later.

Anything below 10mg is pretty much worthless.

Actually, Dick, no, not really. loratab is a high dose of hydocodone (NOT OXYCODON E) Which is what is in percodan/percocet. 10 mgs won't maken you trip, but they will get you high.

i've heard of morphine hallucinations, but not on any opioids, morphine is one of the natural ones (opiates)

hydro- and oxycodone are synthetic (opioids) and you'd have to overdose really bad to hallucinate, and i guarantee you'd puke it up first, synthetics are fine-tuned like that on purpose, the only side effect they can't really minimize with the effective ones is the addiction

Opiates don't give OEV's like acid or shrooms, it's more of a dreaming while you're still awake type thing, hard to decribe if you haven't experienced it (what isn't?)

Yeah you aren't gonna start hallucinating off of this stuff..unless you probably take a lethal amount and are going through shock right before you die.. x_X I'm good with taking like 2-3 7.5's or 10's and it makes me feel great for like 5 hours. (minus the itch of course :P)

i use it on and off and it works ok for mild pian ,will indeed buzz your ass at the right dose for your body wieght and chemistry which is a trial and error type of thing,only you will know how it effects you,some people just get sick from it and others can eat them like M&M's

it may not be classified as a hallucinogen, but if you've ever nodded out on prescription painkillers, especially oxycodone, you get all kinds of strange trippy dreams. I remember dreaming about an empty green meadow, a sky full of clouds shaped like puppies, and an empty soccer field with a ball bouncing across my field of vision. But that's just while nodded out. it all goes away when you come to.
