Has anyone ever heard Matisyahu? For those that don't know he is a hasidic reggae singer. Let me say this, i'm jewish but love reggae and think he kicks ass. Although a lot of his lyrical content is about the jewish bible (torah i think its called) a lot of it resembles Bob Marleys. Religion, hope, ect. I dont know if this in the wrong section or not so sorry if it is. This guy and his band have so much skill in my opinion, from what i heard on his Live At Stubbs cd my friend had in the car. I think all should listen with an open mind and see if you like it for yourself. The instuments and shit sound so trippy when ur fucked up. For those who have heard this guy what do ya think?

I listened to some of his samples online, he's really good. I've been listening to reggae dub, and then found these links for artists. I guess you could say my leanings are for deep root, and dub, I haven't even really explored the vocals. Can you give me any others you'd recommend, I'm always appreciating anothers opinion...who knows...it could be mine later LOL
