little problem need advice

can out door plants get mold? my plants have a white fuzz or powdery looking stuff that is slowly becoming more present on my plants. If it is mold or fungus what can i do to prevent it from spreading? Is there an organic solution to this problem because i am trying to stay away from nasty chemicals? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You have Powdery Mildew and yes I have it on a couple of my outdoor plants that get plenty of light and the wind is always blowing. If its on a couple leafs only just clip them off AND don't touch anything more than you have to and wash your hands good. What kind of summer do you have where you live? If you have a high humidity % through the summer you may have a big problem. I was told to use some water and baking soda mixture but not any buds.

im in california so the weather is perfect. it is only on the bottom leaves and at the base of the stem. some of the leaves are pretty big so i dont really want to chop them off but if it will help i will do it. i thought that maybe it could have been from getting water on the plants when i water them but i doubt it. i will try to get a pick. thanx

definitely chop those off bro, besides, shade leaves suck, i always clip mine off to let the other branches get a chance, ends up doing a similar thing to topping, but u still have the main cola. oh yeah, and for all of you veteran growers, how long does it usually take ur plants to start becoming nice and crystally after you've switched to 12/12?
