You have to get the smoke into your mouth and then close off your velum (the fleshy part of the back of your mouth that you close at the beginning and the end of the word "king") and use your tongue to force the smoke out while inhaling through your nose. The trick is that you're not actually exhaling the smoke, you're inhaling while closing off your mouth and pushing the smoke out with your tongue.

no its perfectly possible. My friend can do it, he calls it an irish waterfall. Its not exhaling and inhaling at the same time, its a little exhale from the mouth, then a little inhale from the nose, in quick succession.

I've always heard it called a French Inhale. It's pretty easy to do once you get it right. It fucks you up a lot because it gives the smoke and THC a straight shot into your brain. Great fun. Anywho, take a hit but don't inhale after your hit, so the smoke is sort of still in your mouth. Curl your mouth upwards and move your tongue towards your teeth, and slowly bring air and smoke in through your nose. Practice with cigarettes. It looks cool as fuck if you do it right.

And just to clear things up, it is possible to exhale through your mouth and inhale through your nose at the same time. Some wind musicians do it. It's called "circular breathing". Kenny G did it for 45 minutes straight.

When I take the hit i dont inhale like i normally do i just leave in my mouth and then do it. When i inhale through my mouth i cant do it. Maybe thats your problem. Sorry if this doesnt make any sence because im high

Anyone who says they can is full of it. You cannot have one set of muscles relaxing and contracting at the same time.
Circular breathing is a practiced technique of using your mouth to push out air that you are storing in your cheeks while you inhale through your nose. When we are low on air while playing we push some into our mouth to use while we take a quick deep breath with our nose then switch back to using air from our lungs. Anyone can do it with practice.
Here are a few simple excersises I used to learn: ( I play didgeridoo)
