Smoking from scratch

Alright. I would like a quick way to smoke pot from scratch.. I'm a newbie for the most part, and I've only smoked in groups with pre-rolled joints and the like. I'm getting 3 grams tommorow, and I would like to know how I can smoke this without any joint-making skills from household items. I've looked at so many different methods. Aluminum foil pipes, but then I hear that they are very hazardous... rolling my own joints.. but I fail miserably every time... and other various ways. Any suggestions?

well.. I figured out how to cheat at rolling joints.. Envelopes make great substitute for rolling paper... and pencils to wrap them around.. yeah, I got it.

Seriously you do not want to be smoking an envelope! Go and buy some papers, they're only 50p. As for rolling, just buy some rolling tobbacco and follow a good joint rolling tutorial and just keep practising until you are confident and then stubsitute the tobbacco for some green.

simplest method-

get a pipe,
pack a cone with green,
ignite,
inhale,
exhale, repeat as neccessary.


a pipe can be made by getting a can of coke (empty), and make some small holes in the side, put the green on top of those holes and suck from the drinking hole.

for random uses, i'd say just go ahead and use aluminum foil. i've used it hundreds of times, and im just fine(*dies*). well maybe not hundreds, but atleast over 100 though, so i dont think once will hurt you all that bad. if your over the age of 18, find a head shop and buy a bowl.

Yeah, I'd say if you are over 18, you can go to a nice discount tobacco store and buy one of their "glass tobacco pipes" or "glass tobacco water pipes" (bowls and bubblers, respectively) and just take that route. They should be pretty cheap and will last you for a long time, plus nothing feels quite so good as hitting a glass pipe and tasting just the weed, nothing else.

You can also make a bong out of a water bottle using a pen canister (empty) and aluminum foil. Basically, drink a Dr. Pepper or a Coke, and save the bottle. Take off the wrapper. Using a cigarette , just burn a hole towards the bottom. Burn a hole a bit higher than that on the other side for your "carb". Take a cheap pen and take out all the innards of it (the ink cartridge, etc.) until you have a hollow cylinder. The cylinder should fit nicely into the lower of the two holes that you made. Make a bowl out of aluminum foil on the end of the cylinder. Put enough water in the bottle so that it covers the whole pen cap, put your weed in the bowl (breaking it up) cover up the carb, apply lighter to weed, inhale. Smoke should start bubbling out of the water and filling up the chamber. Usually when this happens, I take my mouth off the bottle and cover up the mouth of the bottle to catch my breath. After I've done that, I put my mouth on the mouth of the bottle, remove my finger from the carb, and inhale, thus "clearing the chamber". Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll do my best to explain it.

However big you want. For ease and stability, I usually make one that's about as big around as the tip of an eraser on a pencil, maybe a bit bigger or smaller.

Easy Apple pipe:

Take an apple. Core it, as you usually would. Now, you should have an apple with a big hole through it. Now, use the corer to make another hole that intersects the first one at a 90 degree angle. DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE APPLE. You should now have one big hole going all the way through the apple, and one hole that intersects the first one, and goes half way through.

Now, make a tin foil "bowl" in the hole that doesn't go all the way through. Using a pen/needle/whatever, poke a couple small holes in the tin foil. Fill the tin foil bowl with some dank greeen, hold the apple so the bowl points up and your hand is covering one end of the long hole, light the green, and suck. To clear the "chamber", let your hand off of the hole opposite that on which you're sucking.

Voila, nature's own steamroller!

Tin foil = bad idea. Just because you have issues now doesn't mean you won't have issues down the road from smoking with tin foil. Supposedly it can lead to alzheimers (if you know anyone with this disease trust me you don't want to have anything to do with it) and probobly a bunch of other nasty lung related stuff. I would say learning to roll a joint, or just buying a piece are the two best options. You have friends that smoke though, maybe you can bumb a piece off of one of them. If you smoke them up as well they would be more than happy to let you use their piece as well ;)

Of coarse a homemade gravity bong is always a good way to get baked.

me and my brother smoked outta an apple tonight.....didn't make it taste nasty or nothing...and it kept giving me head rushes...i unno maybe from the sugar in there or something...it was weird but enjoyable...

If your at a local resteraunt, take the metal top off a salt / pepper shaker and use your imagination. Make sure you leave a fat tip cause your rippin them off.

You don't even need to put tin foil on the apple. Once you drill a hole through the top, it should form a bowl shape. Just depends on how big the buds are and how big the hole is.

Here's how to roll a J in two minutes. Break up the weed ultra-fine, then take a pen, wrap the paper around it, and seal it up. Let it dry completely, then pull a little slack over one end- pinching as you go- and twist the extra into a tight closure. Then, pack the "Cigarette Tube" with weed, using the rolling pen, which is of the same thickness as your paper, to pack it down. The end result is a jay with more precision that most freestyle rolls (if you're not dealing with somrthing like cigars, and years of treatment, the only preferable method of rolling is to stuff, anyway) that smokes great. Just leave a little big of room at the top (slightly less than the bottom, which will form the mouth-end) and twist it like the other end. Stick it in your mouth and light it up.

With more finely broken pieces of weed, the J will burn at a greatly even pace, give you more THC at a preferable ratio to mass and smoke better.

It works for me, and you all should try it. I can't roll at all, otherwiswe; and, even if it could, after smoking the first, I wouldn't remember.

No the BEST way to roll a J but it works. I've found you can't get the weed packed as tight, and I like a conical shape in my joint. Like I said though if it works for you. And it is super easy for beginners, just remember. Keep packing the weed in tight when you load it. Otherwise that shit will fall out while you are smoking it or it won't burn evenly etc etc etc.
