Hey, I was smoking some great bud just a while ago and i got to thinking...is it possible for people to get together and SUE the government? What if you were able to build a claim that the government ILLEGALLY usurped your right to smoke? I mean think about it, since it's been medically and scientifically proven that cannabis smoke does not effectively harm a human being and also provides beneficial qualities isn't it legally damning for the government for invading on your constitutional rights? People with relatives who've suffered could build a case that they've been wrongfully kept in pain before their death. Also, what about the basis for which it was first made illegal? Jesus christ, cmon everyone! Anslinger's testimony was deliberately falsified and when since ever has that not been full reason to throw cases and rulings out? I think this is the solution for legalisation or at least decriminalisation? What do you guys think? im going to post this in the legal forum too.

it is very possible. Its just hard to get all the pot smokers to unite. If we could do it, weed would be legalized by now.

a bunch of idiot kids will only give the movement a unserious face.
You could waste your time and money trying the sue legislators and the Government. Good luck, you would just hurt the cause of legislation of MJ. Lead that to NORML.

yes i guess government is priving us from a right
Also, your case doesn't hold much water since im some states, you can have MJ legally for medical purposes. It wouldn't work. You would need one HELL of a TEAM of lawyers. Not to mention probably a million or so dollars to pay your legal staff. Like I said, lead it up to NORML.

the idiot stoner kids are part of the movement, you need them as much as you need a nice fat bud! Lets get together and feel alright
Your a deep thinker thats a great idea. As long as the supply of marijuana is not disrupted and hard to get organized action is a last resort. Think about it people get paranoid only when they think a law will change and weed will be hard to get as soon as they get their weed all is cool and back to routine. The best bet is making organization routine than it grows like here this is a good place.

that's a pretty assanine statement imo, weren't we all a bunch of kids once? most of us pothead kids at that? if this war isn't won soon enough these "dumb ass kids" will be the ones fighting the war. yea like anyone's going to go and take a group of kids serious on anything, but still. you are talking about the future "people who are dying of wasting disese, doctors, and lawyers" and does that mean as soon as they hit 18 then they have a right to speak up? there are more of them out there than you think that actually know what's going on instead of "i want weed legal becasue i'm tired of getting busted for it" i was one of those people i wanted weed legal not for selfish reason but for the people that actually needed it. but i guess i don't have a say so since i was once a dumb assed kid right?

Let's do the sixties again -- therein lies the proof that if enough of us band together, we make things change. We can be heard. We can be a liberated ...
Ah, fuck it -- let's just bring back free love.

The government, under our noses, has clinically supported 8 patients, who had enough money to have their own study done, that medicinally proved that cannabis was the right medicine for them. It cost the patients about 20g a piece. The weed is grown in Oxford, MS, by scientists from the university. The patiens have symptoms from AIDS, cancer(mostly inoperable, with multiple tumors), Fibromialga, chronic wasting disease( in which weed gives you the ultimate power munchies and allows you to eat the food and not throw it up!) , and the obvious reasons , like nausea with chemo and glaucoma. The patients receive appr 8 oz. a month. THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT IS FUCKING DOING THIS AND TURNING AROUND AND ARRESTING US? That is pretty whack. I mean get off the fucking fence and give in.
Dear government,
You can't beat us, mind as well join us.
Sincerely,
Me.
P.S. If you are reading this, Fuck You.
