will a space blankert creat any hot spots and is it any good for reflecting light?

best is mylar, after is white paint, and after is aluminium foil. foil may create hot spots if in the wrong side i think. not so sure about it. anyway mylar is the thing

I would use nothing if you can't use mlar or a flat paint. everything else will screw stuff up more than it helped

I think some of those "Space blankets" are Mylar. They are just packaged and called something else is all. You want the ones that have a smooth surface so you can install them flat and clean with as few wrinkles as possible. Just make sure it is Mylar; the packaging should say. White poly liner is the next choice to Mylar. Lotâ??s of people are using it because it cleans easer and installs easer then Mylar.
