Caught by cops?

Just wondering if I'm caught by a cop with a bowl w/just resin and no actual weed on me will I be charged for possesion or what will the deal be considering the pipe is made for "tobacco" use.

well cosidering i had a friend nearly go in for shake in the ash tray i dont think thats too hard to believe. i didnt say will i get 10 years? i just want to no if its more then just a lost bowl, if im driving or whatever.

depends on the cop. he could let you go or he can be a jerk. i know in new york state, where im at, the law is if you have a pipe and its not resinated with marijuana then it's legal.

in boulder i think posession under an ounce you just get a $100 fine. the whole town smokes weed, so just as long as you do it in your home.

it'd be nice to see our little pot smoking county tell the feds to fuck off and make weed...hell all drugs legal, and put bounties on DEA agents.

my brother got caught smoking a pipe in a public parking lot in a car....the cop just confiscated the pipe and let him go.....he had nearly a full bowl too.....i bet the cop smoked it lol

Where do you live, because here in Nevada it's like a $48 ticket, I got caught with a J once, my dumb-ass was so high, I didn't even think to swallow it, in fact I left it in my change holder in my car where you would have to be an idiot to not see it, but then I actually served some jail time because I didn't pay the ticket and I had a warrant.

Dude, it's just a tobacco pipe to the law. Unless you have herb on you or in the bowl, you should be fine. You can go to a head shop and buy a 3 foot bong and walk down the street with it if you want as long as you're 18.

jyea but if it's resinated you still stand a chance to get in trouble.....if it's resinated that shows the laws that you aren't using it for tobacco.....becaluse i dunno about you but tobacco never touches any of my smoking devices....so all mine reek of weed not tobaccco......but if you do get somthing to clean it or somehow to manage to get every bit of resin out...it's once again legal....

I got busted for possesion when I was 16. Me and a friend took a short cut through a park one night when suddenly 2 cop cars came driving up. Apparently it was against the law to be in a park after dark. This was total bull shit 'cause it was a tiny little place and it was pretty obvious we weren't hanging out or anything. We were just cutting accross the corner. Anyhow, these cops jump out of their cars and are total assholes. They wouldn't even tell us what we had done wrong at first. Then they tell us to empy our pockets. I had an 1/8th of really nice buds and my pipe at the time. I tried my best to just palm the stuff but they found it.

They made a big deal of it any put everything into these big zip lock evidence bags. We thought for sure we were going to juvie but they just took us home instead. Trust me when I say you don't ever want to see the look on your Dad's face when he opens the door at 11:00 at night and sees you standing there with a cop ;). The cop explained to my Dad what I had done, been in the park after dark, blah blah blash, and been cited for possession of marijuana. He then gave me waht looked like a ticket and left.

About a month later my parents get a letter from the city stating how I was cited for being in a park after dark and how, athough this may seem like a minor offense, such flagrant violation of the law could lead to more serious crimes in the future. Yeah right, like taking a shortcut is a "gateway crime". We never heard anything about the buds they took though. No fines, no letters, nothing. My guess is they were enjoyed by the cops who busted us. This is in California though where the laws are pretty liberal.

Joints/blunts in the car or while outside moving and shit, and if you are in a house or something chiller, use your bowl. You cannot eat a bowl but it is wicked easy to get rid of a joint or blunt.
I knew a kid who got caught in a school zone with separetly bagged 1/8ths and he got community service and probation I think. Just puts it all in perspective, they would likely arrest you though.
