i think i have germinated my seeds ok?? i have just planted them in 4 plant pots, they are in a white cuboard and i have a 80w fluro spot light on them they have beenthere for 4 days and there is still no sign of them bracking through the soil, the light is on all day and i only check them once a dayand water the same , so are my seeds shit or will it take a bit longer for them to come through?? any ideas???

A kannabis seed is germinated when the seed is split open and a white tap root is growing. Keep kannbis seed moist and warm over 72 degrees until it is germinated.

Good Growing!

Seeds should not be watered very much at all, they have no way to deal with the extra moisture like plants due through transpiration. You are nearly undoubtably drowning your babies. When germinating, I wait until the tap root is about 1/2" long before planting 1/4" from the surface with the tap root facind down. Water sparingly every few days (I mean 5 ml or so, which is a teaspoon), and they will pop through in 4-7 days usually.

should i try to germinate more seeds i think i may have drowned these little babys then ha ha :)
i have about 30 other seeds to i honestly dont know what they are my uncle gave me a load of them , the only problem i had with germinating them was that the seeds opened up but i dont think a tap root came off them ?? but i planted any way just to see if it would work. whats the best way to germinate these seeds and when planted water how often???

Put them on a piece of tissue paper and fold it over to cover the seeds , then soak the paper in water and leave em in your airing cupboard for a couple of days keeping a cheque on em to make sure the paper doesn,t dry out to much , I always keep it very wet .

Don,t worry about drowning them , some ppl germinate em by leaving them in a glass of water.
When there is a root of about 3 or 4mm plants em root down in you medium just under the surface and put em back in the dark in a warm place to surface and then get em under your light.

Disco....
