I think supporters of Marijuana/Medical should let Americans know what person is for Marijuana when it comes time to vote.

Example

List all candidates from mayor, governor, congress and presidents who support Medical Marijuana and Marijuana in general. I think letting people know how these candidates stand should be pushed all over the internet.

I would vote for almost anyone who supports legalizing Marijuana. You may ask, "even if they are a fool and could not run the country"? Yes I would tell you, I mean what is the difference now? We have Bush as president and Marijuana is still illegal. I would take another fool as president and have Marijuana be legal for Medical reasons and recreational uses. I get so pissed knowing the government allows cancer sticks/nicotine that is as addictive as coke and heroin and Alcohol, "we all know how bad these 2 things are". Marijuana is illegal but safer than those 2 drugs. I am not saying Marijuana is safe but safer.

He makes a good point though, I have no idea who the high and mighty politicians are who support MM, or just plain 'ol Marijuana.

I would not let my intelligence fall that far to elect you but I do know that GREAT men and women will be pushed into offices around the country that support Medical Marijuana and in some cases recreational use. These people are who I would want to know about, people who are leaders, educated and want the best for America. Unfortunately I feel Bush does it to the best of his ability but does not care of the consequences of his actions or just does not think about what he is saying, "Axis of Evil for example" and now who are we fucking with in the news a few years later? N.Korea and IRAN, and with Nukes it is not cool to make enemies with words. Ask President Fox in Mexico ;) I would rather have an enemy because of racist comment than an enemy who argument can lead to the end of the world as we know it.

Unfortunately picking elected officials can be a hit or miss, even if it is a miss that person still will do his job as he sees best for America and I may bitch about him but I also stand behind him as an American. I may not follow his way of thinking about many things but what I am getting at is that the next president could be the same man but support Marijuana.

I served with the 4ID in Iraq in 2003, advanced party into Tikrit. I was one of the ones who settled the Tikrit base, a former Army base of Iraqi. I do not agree with Bush or the war but I followed my orders and left the Army with Honorable discharge. Just my own reasoning to justify my right as an American to free speech over the next guy who did not serve this great country allowing me to put down Bush's presidency.

The point is I would like to see NORML and other sites post candidates views on Marijuana, I can also research that persons other views as well and pick for myself who I feel would be my best choice and oh by the way, is Pro Marijuana. I am sorry you took my intelligence on the matter as I would just vote for some fool who just agrees with legalizing Marijuana.

As I read my last post above I feel I need to comment on my service. It doesn't put me above anyone else, we are all Americans. We allhave the same rights as the next guy and one of those rights is ones choice not to serve in the Military.

yeah , you have to be 21 like alcahol to do it if it was passed. But legalization is better than having it not legalized.... even if i couldn't use weed legally for 6 years!

I think it's like what they did in alaska, even though it passes there were some contrevorsies of it...

the mayor of salt lake wanted to decriminalize marijuana but that wouldn't fly in a state like this

No president has legalization in mind. It's better just to take your money and skills to the most friednly places for weed. That way other places will have to compete and make thier towns weed-friedly. You have more power voting with your wallet than you do with your punch pin.
