Need clarified if for hair testing

Hello ppl. I'm a newbie on here and think I came to the right place for a answer. I was a daily smoker many times a day for the past year. 21 days ago I stopped bc of trying to get a new job that requires a hair test. When I quit in the past prior to the last yr it took around 30 day to get clean for a UA. This time I have a hair test. I understand that your hair grows out from being directly tapped into your blood. My question is how long does it take for your blood to be clean and also when does your hair actually start growing clean? Is it after it's out of your blood or does it have to be out system completely? I have short hair about 1.5" long before I get a hair cut. I'm hoping I can get a accurate answer because this affects when I can go take this test. It might take 1-3 months for me to get this job but don't want to cut it close and have a chance of blowing it due to hair being dirty. I've read that sometimes the thc doesn't stick to your hair but my luck it will. Any information would be a relief. I've smoked nothing but the best nugs so don't know if the % of thc has anything to do with it. Please help. Please help.
