My ladies are in 8 weeks flower.
This is my first grow, so I am unfamiliar with problems and usually have to look and compare with other pictures. My buds are very leafy, I am growing Blackjack, which is supposed to have a great calyx-leaf ratio.
Things that could have caused this: I cut alot of the fan leaves off early flowering. I read it on icmag and decided to give it a go. I also think I fed too much N during flowering, for the past week I cut out N.
Do you think those are the reasons I am seeing this? I know I didnt have a light leak. Growing DWC 600W HPS (12" away).

I'm certainly not the expert and have zero experience with your hybrid, but that could be typical of that variety.
however, I never remove a leaf until it's pretty much dead because the leaves are the engines of the plant.
good luck with the harvest! imho, they are looking pretty good.
They look like cluster's of little buds that didn't grow together to form a single Cola....Yet.
How do the Trichomes Look? Maybe it just needs a couple more weeks.
Edit...I just looked at the pics again and don't see much Trichome evident. (at least from what I can see) Offhand, they just aren't done yet and look like they will tighten up and form huge Cola's when they are done! I'd like to see pics again in a week or two.

Looks like they're getting it covered, your ideas certainly affect the growth(leaf removal, and nitrogen). And I would let them grow a while, but I like them I little strong as in couch-lock.
Another quess- some varieties will pack leaves at cooler temps(seen outdoors & in cooler tent), think it may be a protection thing. But nice sugar leaves are not all bad, make good bubble hash for sure. In some cases at least.

Have you seen any leaf-drop in flower, or is the whole plant that green?
An overabundance of N is likely a factor. That is pretty darn leafy!
The BlackJack that I ran went 12 weeks in flower, there is still time for them to fill-in some more.

Thanks peeps. I've seen at most 5 leaves die off on their own. All the leaves are green. and yes tlranger, I did have a week where temps @ lights off were around ~50 degrees. I didnt even think that would be a cause.
Trichs are about 60/40 clear-cloudy, I think I have about 2 weeks left. I am thinking that even with a good flush, Im going to be harvesting with green leaves.
I know they dont look very frosty, but I think thats due to the light when snapping the pics. They are pretty icy with flash on.
Not looking forward to trimming all that shite...

you need much more light! I had plants that looked like that before, and it was because they were sitting on the edge of my light source, in the direction of 2 6500k lights. meaning they weren't getting enough light. nor were they getting enough RED spectrum 2600k
also too much blue spectrum 6500k & Nitrogen, can cause this with certain strains. Usually a high N, doesn't do that much, it just makes the buds airy and more spaced out.
the plant on the right side should look like the left one, dense and heavy, but its all poofy and leafy, it looks FAT haha but its not
plant on the left weighed at 10 grams dry/cured
plant on the right weighed 4 grams dry/cured

I don't think its light, I'm runnin 600w hps with 150w side cfl lighting...there's no 6500k lights only 2700

well what is the size of your space, from the looks of your pics, it appears you need more light.
do you have any better photos, maybe of the whole room
you should have an even spread of light over your canopy, which would make your flowers flourish past the green
I would trim back some of those leaf's, these look like they need much more time than 2 weeks, some strains are weird and don't grow like the typical norm.
thin it out some then feed it a high dose of PK, it should make your flowers POP, a bloom booster would work good

also if you have topped or FIM'd your plants during the first few weeks of 12/12 ive seen this revert the plant back into a vegg state at the same time its trying to produce flowers.

Thanks for advice gdemon, reason the pics dont look like much light is because the hps was off when I took em so it wouldnt effect the pictures.
Im running dwc, and did res change a few days ago with just PK. Hopefully itll start fillin out soon.
