we can't disclose our packaging details on an open forum - if you'd like to use the contact screen on our site, you can get more information.

if you're worried about bringing down heat on your home, use a safe address - like one at a UPS store or a friend's house.
plenty of people do that even in the UK where it's legal to own cannabis seeds.

by the way, if your seeds get snatched by customs, you just get a notice along with your empty mailer. unless you order an outrageous number of seeds, i don't think they're turning you over to the local authorities. at least I haven't ever heard of that happening & i've searched & searched for any reports.

i spend a lot of time on the east coast of the us and have had seeds delivered here without issue
some customs offices are more watchful than others, but most people in the east don't have a problem.

note that i think they're still working on the contract with the new card processor, but they keep promising me it'll be sorted soon.
in the meantime, we are accepting wire transfers, cash, western union, bitcoins, etc.
in fact, i'll check again today on the card processor deal & give everyone an update.

that would be great, you can have a package left at a UPS facility then come pick it up? did not know that I should look into this....i will be ordering about 15 or so from you guys if i order in one big order any way i could put in the notes to have you guys ship em separately like a few days appart? that way i have several small packages with only 3-4 seeds each ? just an idea,
thanks for the help

UPS Stores & I believe Fedex has something similar will give you something like a post office box with a street address that you can use for a fee.
Lots of small, at-home businesses use them so that they don't have to give out their home address.

UPS Stores are small, independent shipping facilities that are located in shopping malls - the big UPS sort facilities won't accept shipments from the post office.

Our shipments go out through Royal Mail then through customs then through the Post Office.

If you want to break down the orders into smaller packages, you'll have to order separately & pay the postage with each.
We don't have anyway to do what you suggested through the system & I'm afraid it would confuse our shipping people to no end.
Plus, the mailing costs would mean that we'd lose money on your order.

I don't think you'll have any problem with 15 seeds coming through. And, most of the time, they'll replace any seeds that go missing in the mail at least once.
If seeds go missing at a high rate meaning it's a customs issue, they'll stop shipping to that region for a period of time.
So far, we've only had issues like that in Australia, New Zealand & Hong Kong.

If you look around the forum, you'll see that we've only had one problem here with someone ordering into the US and that was a training issue with our shipping department. They received their replacement without a problem.

I ordered from these guys today and I'm on the East Coast.

My card kept getting declined, but that was a bank issue not them, as the bank called me with a fraud alert. I cleared the fraud alert with the bank and the automated service said I should try placing the order again. I'm not sure if that meant they put a 'cleared' flag for the charging company or not because by the time this had taken place, I had ordered using Bitcoins instead. If you are going to use credit card, I would stop by your bank and ask to make sure you're cleared for international ordering. Personally, I would go with Bitcoin if at all possible, as it's the stealthiest payment. If you do go with credit/debit card and get things cleared for an international order, the company does allow you to provide separate shipping and billing addresses. Just make sure the billing part matches what you have on file with your card processor.

I had my order shipped to a relative under a fictitious name for a little added security. Shipping to the US requires a signature from the receiver, but the signature does not have to match the name on the shipping slip. Unfortunately for me, the relative I shipped to will more than likely not be home when the parcel arrives. Normally, at least in my area, the post will leave a notice on your door. There is a section in the notice where you can sign and tell them to leave it in a particular spot ("back door","side of house", etc). I'm hoping we're able to do that for my order.

At any rate, I'll let you know how the process goes!

*Edit: My order (with the nice freebies) came to a total of 15 also.

Glad to hear the bitcoins worked for you.

For people who've never used them - including me - do you have a recommendation for where to buy them?

I'm still not sure that the cards work - last time I asked, they said they were deciding whether they would accept credit cards for non-UK orders due to the risk of fraud.
They were trying to work it all out & it's surprisingly complicated - just one of the reasons I like to work with seeds & people instead of the financials.

We also take Western Union - and you can mail cash using certified mail. I think Western Union would be safer & faster if you're not up to learning how to use bitcoins.

I've bought bit coins from here before without any problems but I haven't bought any in the past month or so, since the market prices have gone crazy. I think they are still okay, you had to buy coins early in the day because they used to sell out out quickly but not sure about now.

Yeah, the whole Bitcoin thing is a little daunting. I actually mine, so I had a little supply on hand, and what I didn't have for my order I was able to buy from a friend.

My friend buys and sells all of his BTC (shorthand for Bitcoins) at: https://www.bitstamp.net/ <- lots of transactions both selling and buying so I would say they are very safe

Alternatively, I have also used: https://btc-e.com/ <- not as many transactions and they have a limit on what you can withdraw at one time (a minimum of 0.10) but still seemed pretty safe to me. This site actually allows you to do all the crypto coins so it does have a better variety, whereas the bitstamp above is for BTC only.

I would have probably went with money order or the western union route if I was unable to use the BTC. Unfortunately, I'm like a kid in a candy store since most of the smoke we get around here is brown brick dirt and I just didn't want to wait the extra week or so the mail would add to the ordering process.

I totally understand the kid in the candy store thing - I look at almost every new seed before it goes up on the site and I want almost everything I see.

Thanks everyone for the input on bitcoins - I understand it's really catching on & lots of seedbanks are moving that way as credit card processors are becoming a challenge to work with for anything that's on the edge of legal. I guess once everything's legalized & a little more legitimate - and they see all the money they're missing out on - the greedy b*stards will be all over it.

Well, my order has finished processing and is now marked as out for shipment! Unfortunately, there is no tracking once it leaves the UK so it just a matter of waiting now. I'll keep you all updated!

I live on the East Coast - last time I got something from the UK, it took 10 calendar days total which amazed me because I've had it take much longer.
Most sites say to give a UK to US shipment at least 21 days.

It can take much longer depending on how busy customs is - not sure if the holidays affect them like the regular mail, but I'd assume so.

Keep us posted - and hope you enjoy your new seeds.

Yeah, the whole Bitcoin thing is a little daunting. ..

Yeah, I'm new to all this stuff, never mined or anything, I'm just fascinated in the spread between the markets. look its trading at 617 on bitstamp at 610 on btc-e and 664 on MTGOX. i wish i could figure out how to cash in on the arbitrage. https://www.mtgox.com/ sorry to get off topic..

Yeah the volatility and spread is pretty amazing. My friend who I deal with has been able to make pretty decent profit, of course he has more experience and has been working it since the start. Currently he even has one of the 25gh/s units from Butterfly labs.

One thing he has been doing recently, is placing both a buy and sell order. He'll buy in when things hit a low, and sell when things go up. I know it sounds like a ridiculously easy plan, but since things can take a swing very rapidly its actually done pretty well for him. Me and him both believe that it will hit $1000 again, so he's bought in at $635 and plans to sell when it starts getting close to the high mark. I guess it's just a matter of faith if you believe it's something that's going to be around a while. Personally I think it'll be here for a long, long time, but as with most stuff, it's a waiting game to come out on top.

you make it sound like the forex market - the buy in at lows & sell at highs.

there are a ton of other profit making schemes with forex - maybe reading some of those would help you figure it out.

"finance was never my strong suit, so i don't understand all the nuances. "

I definitely feel you on that. I actually avoided finance myself, as I considered all the markets to basically be big shell games and that the whole system was a scam. The big boys control the prices and suck people in, then inflate and deflate the market to pull out capital in cycles. I once worked with someone though who was a conspiracy theorist nut and he swore there was a secret numbers code to predict what would happen, so I got a little interested. Of course, this is the same financial genius who borrowed $100,000 from his credit cards and lost it all on the markets. So my interest waned, lmao.

At any rate, my shipment apparently hit New York this morning which is pretty awesome! Might actually make it before Christmas, or if not by the new year!

Awesome!

Hopefully, they'll arrive without any delay, but this is usually where it gets slow due to the wait in customs.

Greetings all! The delivery was attempted on 12.26.2013, unfortunately no one was at home when the mail guy came by. They are going to redeliver it SAT, and I've left instructions with the safe house to just sign the slip and have them leave the package on the front porch. I'm as excited as a schoolgirl at the junior dance.

Even though I haven't officially received the shipment as of yet I'm firmly believing everything is going to be hunky-dory. (It only sat in customs for 2-3 days, and one of those was Christmas day when I'm sure they were closed). When I do finally get the items, I will post pics of the breeders pack unopened. OP asked how things were packaged, but in respecting the selling business, I will not divulge anything other than the final sealed seeds. You can however, create an account with them, place a 'test' order, and view the stealth shipping options available. That's all I'm going to say about that.

I will add this for your consideration though, and this has been repeated in other post, but still worth mentioning here:
If anything does happen, it's limited to a seize and destroy order, and they send you a letter stating such. The only exception I've seen to this is that a doctor was busted who ordered something like 1500 seeds at once. Chances are, with a small order, and the stealth shipping you have nothing to worry about.
The feds have better things to spend limited resources on than trying to filter out 15 seeds. They still will if things are very obvious (1500 seeds), but times are changing for the better, and this is something I think personally, that is very low on the priority list.
And lastly, you have to consider Silk Road. It has been taken out, but it was a serious and long endevour to do so. During the time they were up and operational, it's estimated that they did almost a billion dollars in transactions, and these were all mail transactions. You have to imagine that if they were able to ship about a billion dollars of product, things slip through much more easily than all us paranoid fucks think about.

Just my two cents, have a good evening all!

Well, I officially have my seeds in hand! Everything went smoothly and I was able to pick them up from the delivery house today.

I'll post the pics I mentioned earlier of the breeders pack(s) when I can get the wife off her computer and I am able to upload them!

There's a close up of the Dark Devil breeder pack. If you look closely, around the middle of the container, you will see a few little flakes. I was a little worried about that to start with, because it looked like the seeds had been damaged possibly, and this was debris from the seed shell. However, once I finally figured out how this grow was going to work and got the seeds set to germinate everything was fine. Due to limited space this go round, I was only able to start one Dark Devil and one Black Cream. After only 24 hours in a damp paper towel, plastic baggy, and a nice dark warm closet both seeds cracked and began sprouting. After only 48 hours, both seedlings had reached about 1" long and I got them in some soil.

So, long story short, I'm very happy. These were about the quickest sprouts I've ever seen and that leads me to believe these are good, strong strains. Going into the future, I would probably opt to have the breeder packs removed but since this was my first order, I wanted to see them. At any rate, I was able to order, receive my shipment , and get things started with nearly zero problems, minus the credit card issue and no one being at my safe house the first delivery attempt. I only attempted to germinate 2 seeds at this point due to space concerns, but got a 100% success rate. I'll be creating a grow log of this adventure, and add it in the relevant forum if anyone wants to follow along.

I was wondering if the site booting me out and having to relog in would cause problems with the uploaded pics. Here they are if you can't see them above. (I can't and for some reason, I also can not edit the post)

This is my opnion. I have been ordering seeds online for over 7 years, and have only lost one shipment. Lucky for me it was a small 1 seed shipment. All my other much larger shipments have arrive in 12 to 20 days. I always use a Credit Card, never anything else. If you pay more shipping, they will give you a tracking number. I have never paid for this service, because it is twice the postage. If they wash the seeds, there will be no way for the dogs to smell them, because there is no thc in side the seeds. I live on the east cost. I always use USPS. Good luck, and happy growing.

I think all our shipping has a tracking number with Royal Mail - no extra charge.

We also don't make you buy a T-shirt or Coffee Mug for stealth shipping - they throw in some other free stuff at no additional charge to disguise the contents.
And, so far, we don't charge extra for a guaranteed delivery. The official policy is a little fuzzy on this, but I've never known them to not replace a shipment if the customer reported it as missing or seized.
I think they like treating it on a case by case basis until it happens so much it requires an extra charge - that way, management can pass it off as a value-added service rather than "now we're charging you for something that used to be free"
