Hey Everyone! Been living in Alaska for the last 30+ years and have worked all over the state except in the Aleutians and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. Kind of a Jill of All Trades - and you have to be up here! The only thing certain about Alaska is that it's an unforgiving land, and if you are caught unprepared you can pay with your life. My experiences have been plentiful, and for the most part, fun and interesting. I finished college here, studying anthropology, specifically ethnobotany of the indigenous peoples in circumpolar arctic areas. I've got a 24 yr old son, who has a terrific girlfriend up from South America, and a daughter down in Texas, my home state. I've been disabled by repeated heart attacks and strokes, and live with chronic and sometimes acute neurological pain. I get along best when alone but now I need extra help due to my new inabilities. I've had to let people into my life and it's often irritating and frustrating. But it is what it is, and at least I'm alive! Got my medical marijuana card back in 2009 but honestly did not use it much until recently. I'm like a sponge with information, I soak it all up and then analyze. It works for me! Nice to meet everyone! I look forward to learning even more about growing weed and about how to make more edibles. Thanks!
