Well I got a new tablet and I found a seed in a baggie so I thought I'd try again hope its a little girl this time. I plan on just vegging for 2-3 weeks to see if I like the size/yield. I'm growing with 1 hidhut 150 watt comet series LED, don't plan on using any nutes unless deficiencies develop. All organic soil mixed with a little soil from the ground. I plan on buying some LED panels for supplemental lighting but may end up just using about 100 watts of CFL's.
Sounds like a good plan - but what does the new tablet have to do with finding a seed in a bag, just wondering (I assume you mean a computer tablet - hopefully you got a good deal on black Friday)?
So what are you growing in - closet, cabinet, some other guerilla grow setup? If I were you, I wouldn't bother adding soil from the ground to whatever organic mix you are putting together. Stuff out of the bag has much less chance of having dangerous bacteria or other bad microorganisms in it because it comes from a controlled location, not the "wild frontier" of the back yard. Not worth that risk and the soil from the backyard is probably not adding anything at all that is more beneficial for your ladies than the bagged soil, which should be engineered for maximum benefits.
So have you germinated your seeds yet? I'm also growing with an LED setup in conjunction with CFL/T5 lights, so I am interested in hearing about your setup and how everything goes for you! Good luck and keep us posted!

The only reason I added some soil from outside is because the organic bagged stuff says to mix it with top soil because its not firm enough for plants last time around I used some miracle grow moisture control but I don't want that timed release bs this time around. So it should be fine considering the ground is already permafrosted about 8 inches downnfornthe winter
