I am running a small stealth box with 3/4 gal res with 2 airstones. My question is can you have too much air in a DWC res?

Can you breathe in too much oxygen? I think it's overkill but your choice. Based on the temperature of the water it can only hold so much o2 before it becomes saturated. I think one is plenty, jmo

I would have to agree, try one and see if you notice any changes man.

The biggest misconception people have is they think the bubbles add the oxygen, they don't. The wave action on the surface of the water Does. U could have somethin make ripples on the surface and that would do the same thing. So will 2 stones make more ripples than 1?

:smokebong: but it's also one to think about buzzed.
Yes, O. Is added to water at surface interface, and buy making more water touch the surface more absorption. Ripples show that current, and air stones make current. But also each bubble has a surface to give away oxygen, bunch of bubbles, bunch of surface area.
What's enough, areoponics would say you need allot.
Me, soaking though the dirt seems to work

Bottom line?
Chuck it in, it can't hurt.
