Closet grow in veg stage

17 days in and I have been running 20/4 with two 75 watt cfls with humidity between 40-60% and temperature hasn't hit above 75. I have only put a slight mix of very weak fish fert twice ań everything seems healthy. I just transferred into a bigger pot and noticed something different. Are you able to tell the sex of the plant yet???? How does she look? Any suggestions?

well the female cannabis, creates a preflower when it becomes a certain age or when it thinks its ready to make flowers. usually the females are bushier than males. Males have a tendency to grow taller & somewhat lanky and grow faster. Some times ive noticed males also droop more, no matter what you do.
Now this isn't always true, ive had plants that I thought were male and they turned out female, so don't get too jumpy if you think you got a male.
This is what I have seen with my plants which I normally use the males to make homebrew seeds.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I just noticed when checking it out today and saw that the ends if the stems are getting kinda brownish. I just fed it 5-5-5 fish emulsion that's is way below the ratios the directions gave yesterday.!thanks for your help

I have researched a bunch and just thought I would give it a shot. Apparently air gets down to the bottom a lot easier that way. I've got a bunch of holes poked in the straw to allow air and water to get to soil that might not get there otherwise. I am going to change to 12/12 on Monday so I will be posting more pictures soon.

looking at the plants right now, i can see any signs if they're male or female.. a few more weeks and they will soon start budding. just a hint man:
male marijuana plants- most often have stout and tall stems with fewer leaves and sporadic branching
female marijuana plants- have small white hairs and no balls
