View Full Version : My stomach is in knots...

...and I don't know what to do. I'm so desperate for input from wise experienced individuals. I have a urine drug test coming up in 11 days. I'm panicking. I am 140 lbs., 5 ft. 10 in., muscular but definitely on the thin side. I lift weights about 4 days a week but I do not do any cardio. I have a high metabolism but I would unfortunately categorize myself as a heavy smoker. A little less than a full bowl Mon-Thurs, several bowls throughout the weekend, and usually a bong once or twice over the weekend. I just stopped smoking today. I feel that my chances of passing a drug test in such a small amount of time are not very good. I've began guzzling water and went running today. Aside from increasing my water intake exponentially and running as much as possible within the next 9 days, is there anything else I can do? Do I have any chance whatsoever at passing this naturally? I've started chugging cranberry juice as well and am planning on hitting the sauna for a while. Thank you in advance, from the bottom of my heart I appreciate any guidance. Maybe if I'm lucky, the anxiety will put me out of my misery before the test...

Forget the sauna as it does nothing to rid the body of THC.
By doing a Forum Search with the terms "drinking water soluble dilute concentration", you'll discover that drinking water in the days before a U/A is of no help.

THC tests work on the concentration of these metabolites in your urine. The cutoff point for most test is 50 nanograms per milliliter. By diluting your urine by drinking lots of liquids, you lower the concentration by increasing the volume. You have to be careful not to over-dilute. If the sample is too pale, the specific gravity is too low, and/or the creatinine level is too low you'll get a call from that cunty lady from quest telling you to come back in to retake your test. You can fix the color by taking B-vitamin complex. You can fix the creatinine level by taking supplements. (maybe?)
Flushing them out with exercise, a low-fat diet, and lots of liquids is good until a few days before your test. Then you want to stop exercising and start pigging out. When you are in fat-storing mode you stop releasing THC metabolites into your bloodstream. Keep up with the liquids to flush out those already in your blood.
There's no real way to tell. I've passed drug tests in highschool for retail jobs while smoking... my metabolism was that good. People are going to tell you the same stuff. *1 week for the occasional smoker* *30 days for a daily* *60 for a heavy* Really - no one knows. We can't tell you you'll be okay even if you might pass. if you really need something go with Quick Fix.. It's not rocket science. warm it up. keep it warm. shove that shit in your undies.. and Pass. It works on lab tests. I know people who have used it and it worked. There's nothing a lab can do to distinguish it from human piss. If you're worried spend the 30 on it. don't trust a test you buy at CVS.

And why shouldnt they trust a THC test kit from CVS (or any other pharmacy store for that matter), considering that they work via the same principle as the assays used for the initial screening at the lab?
If the sample is too pale, the specific gravity is too low, and/or the creatinine level is too low Even urine samples with a nice yellow color to them can still register an unsatisfactory S/G and creatinine level.
you'll get a call from that cunty lady from quest telling you to come back in to retake your test. The lab does not make that call. Thats for the employer to make that call. The lab just reports the results to the employer. How the employer will handle the results depends on the employer and the situation (eg; pre-employment, random, post-accident, etc). In pre-employment situations, some employers will grant a retest while some others will accept a negative-diluted result as "hunky dory". Still other employers will simply move on to the next candidate for hire.
