I just got my card and need to grow to offset costs and to share with my local card holders. Been online looking around and 10 bucks per seed is way too much. Any local ideas cause I'd rather buy as American as I can get...

ten bucks a seed is a lot but my personal opinion is that good seed is worth the price. I've seen others and I've tried myself growing out 'home made' seeds and it's really, really iffy. I'm having better success at this than some folks I know. The good seeds are less of a crap shoot but there is still some selection to the process. Meaning, not every seed is going to produce the perfect genotype that is expressed in the literature. But still, I find it's really worth it. I know others who only grow out 'imported' seed and have great success. We do have a thread running here where we recommend or condemn seed vendors. This site has seed vendors that support it. I watch the Mr. Nice Seeds Auctions when I'm looking for new seed.

Even American breeders have to sell seeds through the European market due to the laws.

If you want a different system, call your congressman, vote, whatever

Depending on whether you have to have feminized or you're willing to go with regular, I think we can hook you up for less than $10 a seed.

All our Nirvana Seeds (http://www.gorilla-cannabis-seeds.co.uk/nirvanaseeds/regular) regular packs are £14.99 for 10 seeds right now - that's about $24 depending on the exchange rate that varies daily.
I think $2.40 per seed is very reasonable for those strains - includes some solid strains like Master Kush, Pure Power Plant, Super Skunk, AK 48, Bubblicious, etc.

Feminized Seeds - same strains, but prices go up to £21.99 for 5 & £38.99 for 10 - that's about $35 & $62 - still less than $10.

We have some other bargains too, but American breeders prices their gear as high, if not higher, than our Dutch & Spanish breeders.
