The males are done!
You really should have cut them down early.

They do have a trace amount of resin, but the yield sucks.
Juice them if you wish, but I would not throw them in with the female flowers and trim.
Hope your neighbors weren't trying to grow.

Meh, what's done is done.

The females, (picture one), are seeded now and the calx's are swelling nicely.
Ordinarily, I'd say examine the capitate resin glands, and check on their tans.

But in this case, wait until the seeds ripen.
The pods will split and the dark colored seeds will be visible.
When they begin to drop seed, harvest.
And save the seeds. even if you don't intend to plant them, they are nourishing, and an excellent source of Omega 3 and 6, without the "fish-burps".

actually , my bad! He just says he uses Indica strains . so would you say I only use the females ? or should i also use the males?
also, do males and females both contain about the same amount of THC?

thanks you so much in advance!

Was this not clear?

"They, (the males), do have a trace amount of resin, but the yield sucks.

The males have very little THC compared to the females, and the females quit producing resin as soon as they are pollinated.
All their energy then goes into producing seeds.

thanks you so much in advance!

You are welcome but you have me a little concerned.
My post seemed clear to me. Yet you asked a question that was just answered.

If you really do have reading/comprehension problems, please do not attempt to do your own extraction.

The solvents are flammable, and the fumes are somewhat toxic, you will need to understand and closely follow instructions.
A half-assed approach in this endeavor is fraught with peril.
Safer to buy the oil ready-made.

Carry on,
