ok im planning on constructing my grow room tomorrow. Here is my plan feel free to correct me or give me some advice.
Grow room will be my closet. it is about 3 foot by two painted flat white.
Lights: going to use cfls prob 4 45 watt evenly spaced on the top prob mount them to a 1x6 with a cable or rope hanging it to adjust the distance easy keeping the lights about 6 inchs high. 2 on two sides one about 18 to 24 inchs the other prob 36 inches as they grow
plants going to put them in about 3 gallon pots with ocean forest and happy frog 50/50 prob going to have four plants in it as anymore they would be completely on top of each other
Since the door is like shutters im thinking using a dark sheet to keep the light from keeping me awake or keeping the door on and at night putting the sheet over the door so during the day I can remove it and the slats will allow venation
Since there is a top shelf I figure it will be a good place for a small fan to allow venation.
My plan is to mount a humidity and temperature gauge on the side probably the back half way up. Then a small dehumidifier somewhere
I don't see the need to line the walls with foil or anything as their white and I have 8 lights.
My goals are to keep it simple but get a good harvest and learn as I go so when we get in a house and I have room for a serious grow Ill already have some experience and make going full hydroponic system easier
So am I missing something or doing something wrong, what you guys think
