Yellowing/Browning of leaves in early veg

First time grower here...

Running a E&F 40 pot system w/ two 55 gallon res in a grow tent under four 400W induction lights. After receiving the clones from a grower I immediately put them in 4" rockwool and into the pots using 1/4 strength nutes. after 4 days I'm noticing yellowing/browning at the tips and a little downward drooping. The pH levels are at 6 and the ppms were at about 600. I dropped the ppms down to 440. The temp is running at 70F and the res solution is at around 70-75F. Not sure what to do at this point. I should add that I have the pots on a timer to flood/drain 4 times a day.

Those plants are toast, what nutrs are you using? Before you try again do a run with no plants make sure everything is right, hydro is very unforgiving and it takes time to get it down.

Technaflora nutes. I pictured the 3 bad ones. The rest seem to be fine.

Although I don't know hydrop, I'd say really REALLY reduce the nutes for now - too much at the moment and you are burning them. Poor things.

Usually I just use rooting powder and let them go for a few days before giving them just a drop or two of nutes then slowly up them, but I would be using soil in those cases and there are always some stray nutes in it generally, especially when fresh. Just a thought. Good luck! Hope they recover.

600 ppm is too high for those. Start at just 250ppm just calmag for the first week if using RO water.

Try switching to Dynagrow 7-9-5 and follow the direction on the container. I don't think 250 ppm is enough. I'd consider 750ppm. It looks like you're missing micro nutes and dynagrow has most of what plants need for well-rounded fert. Try that and see what happens.
