View Full Version : Light dilution for assurance?

Hey ya'll

I know some of you might roll your eyes at this but here's my story: Before last month, I hadn't used in many many years, simply because of crippling paranoia. Recently rolled a J from shake given to me by a pal. Three hits and I was gone daddy gone. So, the use after that was very very light. On July 23 I took 1 1/2 hits off the same J I rolled weeks earlier (yeah, it took me that long to smoke it; commence eye-rolling) to enjoy a movie and fall asleep. Now I've got a pre-employment UA (Non-DOT).

I've been over 30 days clean from, like, four hits, three days apart, in the last two months. I've done an at home test. Passed it (but haven't tried first urination, yet). I'm not an overly big guy but I'm pretty (read: unreasonably) freaked out by this whole thing.

My question: I do NOT want to sub (waaaaay to nervous for that, plus 0 time to practice) and I definitely do not want to get popped for dilution. I keep seeing folks in the Dilution sticky saying they had tests come back as diluted -- some had employers consider that a fail. SO. Is there a "light" dilution method? In other words, just enough to dilute levels without being caught as diluted? Pre-test, I'll be eating steaks days before, hitting the sports drinks as advised and taking B12, but will ratcheting down the quantities still work to dilute "just enough"?

Theres no telling. That would depend on how high the THCA concentration is thats present in your bladder. You would have to do some trial runs with dilution to see. When doing the trial runs, you should have these two types of test kits at hand:

- THC drug test kits

- Validity test kits (to see that the creatinine and specific gravity are within satisfactory ranges). Validity test kits are inexpensive and are found online by doing a Google search for "drug adulteration test kits". Without these two types of test kits, youre pretty much playing the guessing game - not exactly a wise move if passing the U/A and securing the job is of any real importance to you.

When is your scheduled U/A?

A couple of days. Enough for a couple AM first void tests for sure. I completely forgot about the validity kits. I have several at Homes left. Mostly to just quell the panic. Funny. I quit smoking in the first place to stop the incessant paranoia, now not smoking and insanely paranoid. Go figure.

Morning test results, faint line in the middle. I understand that a line is a line is a line. Correct? So if it's there on my very first void of the day without fluids of any kind, then I should be good to go?

The answers to both of these questions are found by utilizing the Search button, with the terms "faint line negative" and "line intensity good".
