Is there anyone out there that you know for certain has been busted because of an online purchase (using their own card, not a relatives or stolen) and/or been busted for not paying cash at a hydroponics store? Anyone have knowledge that the cops used either of those as probable cause prior to the legal hassles?

Everyone is sure it happens all the time... but does it really? I know it is a bad idea, the laws are insane, yadda yadda, but does this really happen? Your immediate response is 'Yes', but how do you know?

I want to find out. Who is watching, how are they watching, and what are they doing with that information. I know alot of us could use some real information, and we are going to be our only source for each other.

Please do respond if you feel you must, but please no friend-of-a-friend type experiences. I would love it if you could chime in if you saw it with your own eyes or it happened to you directly. (Also, someone please tell Captain Obvious his posts are needed elsewhere ;)). I want to separate out the reality from the 'common knowledge'.

We process thousands of credit card payments each month & haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble.
Granted, most of them are in the UK where it's legal to buy cannabis seeds, but we've been shipping internationally for a few months now with no complaints about either credit card problems, customs seizures or anything else.

That could be because either
1. There have been no problems
2. No one's let us know they had a problem
3. Someone had a problem & didn't connect the dots to know it was due to the credit card charge - not like they'd probably tell

Although I hear they don't do anything but destroy the seeds if they're detected in customs, I'd worry about that much more than the credit card charge.
Most company's use a discreet name if you're buying seeds & if a supply store doesn't, it's certainly not illegal to buy hydro supplies.

In fact, with all the hype about going green, being self-sustainable, buying locally & growing your own food, I would think that a few random supplies are going to people who want to grow a few veggies, cooking herbs & such off season.
I can just picture a prepper grow room now.

I've purchased several thousands of dollars worth of seeds from 2 companies - As well as a few other things that 'could' have gotten me busted including ordering 90% of my equipment from ebay.

Never had a knock.

Thanks, guys, I do appreciate that.

I am invoking the first and second rules of Fight Club, but I will say that these posts do set my mind at ease....

If you're concerned about ordering stuff, do what all the slightly to more than slightly paranoid people do - get it sent to a safe addy where no activity is going on
