What was I thinking!?

I am 100% sure I'll get trashed for this but it IS a public forum so criticism is welcome.

First off, this is my first grow of the illegal kind. I grow vegetables and shit, never tried "weed" before. All I did was pour some composte, topsoil, and a few coffee grounds in a pot. I mixed it up, dropped my seed in, and this is what I have after 2 months.

I don't have any intention of smoking or selling this stuff but I would like if some questions could be answered pertaining to my plant.

How can I tell if it's male or female?
What kind of weed is it? I was told it's AK something or another but it doesn't look like it when I compared it to AK pics on the internet.

No can tell what type. Appear to be a tad small for 2 months & if ya used some decent soil would be dealing with a 6 foot monster! looks like you're using a small pot as well. Place in a 5 gallon container with good soil bro. As for male or female too early to tell? Peace

I really had no interest in growing this plant at first so I did everything half-assed... but now I'm really interested.
The pot is 2ft around, 2ft deep and gets about 10 hours of sunlight during the day. I am going to buy a solar charged UV light to give it some extra "sun" overnight. I think I'll cut away the pot and drop the plant in the ground near my garden. I keep the PH at a constant 6.7(or 6.8)
