Got MY GC/MS results back need an opinion or two....

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. Anyways last week (day 21 clean) i sent my first check testing kit to GC/MS for confirmation. I just got the results back today at 19ng/ml which was ruled a positive. It was my first void of the day and now i am freaking out because my real pre-employment test is on Friday (30 days clean).

Do you think its possible i will be below cut-off level by day 30 seeing that at day 21 it was at 19ng/ml? I am 6ft 145pounds, used to be a heavy toker since i quit (2-3 times a day single spliff joints). I have been on a gym/niacin/cranberry regime since day 1. Please give me your opinion because at this point i have also bought quickfix for subbing but really would like to use that as a last option just in case my employer ordered a validity test.

If you have access to a sub, better use it as your first option if passing the actual U/A is important to you.

I do have access, thing is i am a very nervous/anxious person in general and its hard for me to do things like that( i know how stupid i sound but i know myself and i know i will shit my pants at the time of the test), but do you think 30 days is enough for time for me to bring me below the 15ng cutoff especially if i am at 19ng/ at day 21?

This was my first void of the day when i sent for testing, what do you think?

Theres no telling. It depends on the individual. Each persons body is different and theres too many variables to take into consideration.

Question as i am little bit confused! since i came in at 19ng does this mean that i will pass the initial screening and not be sent to GC/MS? Or am i mis-informed? Because from what i got while searching the internet is that the cutoffs for Initial screening are at 50n/g ? Thanks in Advance!!

Most initial screens carry a 50 ng cutoff threshold. The confirmation GC/MS is at 15 ng.

A lot of people dont realize it, but a 50 ng assay screen is functionally equivalent to the 15 ng GC/MS. For more information, do a Forum Search using the terms "functionally equivalent metabolites".

With that being pointed out, if you fail a GC/MS, you wouldve failed the assay screen as well.

Hi, just wanted to update everyone who is looking at this, on day 21 clean my results were 19ng/ml. I sent another test on Day 26 clean for first check's GC/MS testing and it came back NEGATIVE!!!! Now i just have to take the real thing tmrw(day 30 clean), still paranoid as hell :(. Any chance i could still test positive?
