Where should I buy seeds?

Hey im wonderin where are some good places to get seeds for my first grow.

i have experience with buydutchseeds, and its not my #1 choice, worldwide are good... have you thinked in www.seedsdirect.to or www.seedbay.com?? those are my #1 choice by far

yes, s.d. is very good. dr. greenthumb has some awesome and distinctive strains too and is based in canada...klozit king is also in canada and handles the 'bc strains'. heavens stairway is good, also in canada (owns and operates overgrow too) and has similar selection as seeds direct but costs a bit more and is a tad slower...

all 4 mentioned above have been around for many years and are honest and reliable...
for sativa's, i usually go with dr greenthumb.

i'd say northern light. i have experience with that one, and it's what's most often grown around my area. low odor, low height, high yield, tolerant of stupid growers like myself.

word, I was considering that but then I heard that K2 is more compact which is important because I have a limited growing space, but if you guys think that Northern lights is a better choice lemme know i havent baught seeds yet

Oh yeah and another strain I heard would be good for my first time would be white widow, but maybe im just buggin? let me know what you think.

Not sure about K2; don't know anything about it. There are honestly probably 20 strains out there that you could use just fine. And there are some plants that will grow taller than others, even in the same strains, so I think as long as you aren't picking one of the Christmas tree sized ones, you're probably okay. It sounds like you've already limited the choices down to the indoor variety, which is good.

Checklist:

- low odor
- low height
- good stone
- high yield

Like I said, there's probably two dozen strains that fit that bill. Fine tuning exactly which one(s) you want to grow will be based on the specifics of what you're looking for. Make sure you post pics and report back on how it goes!

I am growing Doc's Big Laughing (purple flowers)and Millennium Bud (white flowers)outdoors right now. Much as I liked Endless Sky the Big Laughing is my new fave. I've heard good things about the millennium bud though

yes, some strains that are not stabilised they turn hermies during the last weeks of flowering and as a result you get some seeds as well with the buds.....i faced that thing during my fisrt grow where i used fem seeds, cheap ones though (70 us dollars for 10 fem seeds)....i believe that more or less what you pay is what you get.....for the money i paid i am more than satisfied.....

DONT ORDER K2 SEEDS!!! I can't stress this enough, all they produce is knock off strains, none of which are outstanding in any field. a good beginner strain is Skunk #1. And has a great yield. Northern Lights is another one if you growing indoors. Always communicate with a seed company before you order, ask them the same question, what their mailing policy is, etc.

really, I'm glad I came to theses forums. There was one guy who said ebay turned him in and I guess it basic knowledge to not have anything sent to your house. How would they tract that I just figured with the internet and the cops haveing better things to do, that they are not worried about seeds that aren't even mj yet. But that goes to show I'm kinda naive. So most people here would not have seeds sent to your home. Where do you have them sent.

you should have them sent to your parents house (seriously) or perhaps to another buddy's house who is cool with it, cause after all...your friend really shouldn't have much of a problem with it cause he (or she) theoretically won't be growing / selling so obviously they would have nothing to worry about. I have had my light sent to my apt in the past and seeds too.

living in us. have purchased online. have received seeds from some. and some got confiscated and all i got was letter from airport saying "cannabis seeds properly removed and destroyed". you should probably just ask around and see what others are doing for seeds at the time. see where they are ordering from. if botanyx is in us and gets from drgreenthumb, then order from drgreenthumb and one other seed co. that way u'll probably get atleast one shipment. i've ordered online for many years with some confiscated, and never been busted for cultivating. atleast not yet.lol.
