Hey out there. New to the board. Seems to be some good info here. Maybe someone could answer a couple of questions I have. I just took a mouth swab test the other day for employment for a part time/second job. I knew they did a mouth swab test and completely stop smoking almost 3 weeks prior. Did the test and they sent it off so I figured I was in the clear. I didn't go crazy or anything that night but ended up taking two hits of some old shake I had. Then I got to doing some research into the company that the sample was sent out to. It's called Quest and they use the Oral EZE. I got on their site to find out more. A couple of things made me a bit worried. They seemed to indicate their test was as accurate as a pee test for the time the drug is in your system. That was contradictory to all the info I had been reading online. Not only did that worry me but I don't think my test gathered enough saliva to even work. When I was reading on the company's site I saw that a blue indicator would appear when ample supplies of saliva was gathered. So this is two fold. I didn't notice a blue line. I've never taken a drug test before so I didn't know what to do. The person told me to just stick it in my mouth for 10 min so I did. Just like a thermometer. One, is it possible that swab tests can test back that far and secondly I may have messed up by taking two hits last night if I have to re test. I'm a regular smoker normally half joint a day. About 5 weeks ago I started smoking every other day or every few days. Then just about three weeks ago I quit completely. Anyone have any thoughts or knowledge on my issue? Any advice from someone who may know would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
