New guy

Hi folks. Thought I'd introduce my self. I'm in the process of growing and have 4 plants that just started sprouting. Not really sure what I'm doing so I'm taking it as it goes. All for personal use (sleep aid). If anyone could point me in a good direction as far as what to expect from this point that'd be great. Operating on an extremely low budget and growing in my basement closet with a single light (some form of high lumen spot light). I take them outside for the day while they are small to soak up that free sunlight when possible. Not sure how long to keep them in their or how to begin the budding process.

Anyhow, I'm new and here. Thanks for the drug testing info on the other sections! Saved my life!

Let us know how those lights work out. Are they orange-ish or blue-ish?

I'm building an LED fixture with a switching ballast that will hopefully save some $ on electricity and bulbs.
