View Full Version : ?Blooming Issues?

Hey mates, appears I may be having the same issues with blooming. So most went outdoors on the 21st of June & all appear health but still no bloom activity? Hoping that there is enough dark time & surely don't want Hermies. Residing on the east coast & have been feeding reg FF nutes like "Big Bloom" & "Tiger Bloom" with an occasional tea for healthy root ball system. Noticing some white hairs popping up with new growth. Any clues etc...? Here are a few shots.

this is time with the longest days of the year northern hemishphere. I expect any cannabis worth growing to bloom here at 45ยบ lo outdoors in another month. Some have shown preflowers.

Thanks for the quick reply, should I continue feeding a high Nitrogen diet & discontinue all blooming nutes for another month? Peace

Give it more time. Plants look healthy and if that part's working, the rest might be just letting nature take it's course.

Thanks for the quick comeback LaRoche. My question is should I feed a high Nitrogen diet or continue with blooming nutes?

Peace

keep doing what your doing. I have run bloom nutrients with tea right on through and I still had too mucha nitrogen at harvest. Stop adding manures or any high N to the teas when the plants start to form flowers, probably a few weeks from now.

I grow in the North East, about the 42 mark, and I expect to see flower starting in 2-3 weeks, last week of july. I actually have 2 plants, one AK47 and one S.A.G.E starting already. Took 3 cuttings from each 2 days ago, the rest of the sage and ak have not started yet so my hope is these are early girl type phenos.

Outstanding, Thanks for the quick response. Was hoping I'd come across a "neighbor". Come back with an update on your grow. If you're following my posts I'm raising like 7 super skunk & 7 unknowns. All looking tall (4 ft & fat). Peace

Still not seeing flowers forming. Obviously stopped Nitrogen feeds a while back & fighting sweltering heat wave sweeping most of the US. On a positive note haven't seen any herm on me so guess that's a good sign. How much more time before seeing flowering? Peace

How is the flowering going in NE USA? Personally still quite worried about Hermies. Seeing some white hairs but eerily similar to last year with leaf formation on the main colas of most of the skunk plants. Cannot bring'em in the house like last year. Feeding big bloom & tiger bloom. Would bumbershoots work? Advise would be cool. Peace

Shovel, thanks for the calm responses keeping me fairly chilled. Took a few calyx shots & here's what's I'm seeing ( mostly from the middle ). Shovel, thanks for your patience/insight as to their future. Peace

Right on time Man. Plants are looking good as are the tomatoes.

Thanks man, can be a tad impatient as well as redundant at times. Tomatoes have been flourishing in 10 gallon smart pots. Hope all is well on your end.

Look, your stuff is TOO SMALL!! let it do it's own thing and bloom when it's ready. Otherwise you will have a small yield. Unless that is what you wanted....On the West coast, my outdoor is just prebudding, and mine is ahead of any growers I know. Also, nitrogen is not an element that is needed in high quantities during the finishing of flower, if you boost nitrogen in the last four weeks of flower you will end up with pretty plants with a small yield.

Raked in close to 2.5 Kg of decent bud last year. & obv still learning & will be doing so until I'm dead but in the meantime, paleeeeze don't get me started. Am a pacifist not a fighter lol. Ya got something to show me so I may learn? Peace

I still think sitting on your deck, surrounding your Sat dish, smaller won't hurt you at all. Small don't mean mean nothing on quality, might on quantity. But what ever, if Jen wants have em check out got a call.

Already harvesting on the west coast grow, depends on the plant genetics, their in all stages. Showed me something call Durbin(early girl). Want to beat the cops and the robbers. And get out super early.. I don't chase the big girls, but I like um mature.

Not bringing her in any longer, way too big! Since the others have started to bloom hopefully she will readjust & keep blooming? Peace

Believe your right, once started, this time of year, should be safe, and keep right on keeping on. My concern would be the stress of going in and out, just treat her extra nice I suppose.

Looks okay for now, appears to be adjusting. Will be keeping a close eye on them. How's the panning?

choppers hovering in the area. Need I say more?

I have been seeing them around as well. They always give me the Heebee JeeBees. Should be over after next week though. They usually wrap it up around mid August. That is in my neck of the woods anyway,

Almost want the grow to diminish down to 4 or 5 cuz 9 or 10 is way too much for my blood! Yikes

Jeez, They're kinda early around your location, aren't they?
Cannabis females are super-easy to spot from the air when they are in full flower, not so easy before.
iirc we are both around the same latitude, if they weren't directly over your house, shouldn't be too obvious. You are pretty ballsy growing on the deck, though. Good luck!!

Esteban1
08-10-2013, 11:56 AM
Ballsy, yea.... personally don't see a problem with it. Don't bother anyone & not showy. Good thing is they are not visible to the public (way outta sight) visa vie only from the air. Starting to fatten up too. Pray for me lol.

add a few more veggie & fruit trees on your deck to make some camo cover, corn is good, grows super fast and tall

Esteban1
08-10-2013, 07:02 PM
Thanks for the insight. Have a bunch of pepper bushes, basil eggplant & other fruit bearing plants on the deck so it is pretty much camouflaged. Also been vaporizing way too much to keep my paranoia level balanced lmao! When the smell gets sweet & dank in 1.5-2 months is the crucial point in time!

Ok, as you are aware the entire crop is in full bloom & looking great. Finally figuring out how to read/feed the plants & that's almost as crazy as talking to the animals which in fact been doing for the last few decades he he. Gonna keep up with the Fox Farm Feed Schedule as outlined

Oh, right, breaking news........ Did another head count, not 10...... Correction, make that 11. wtf, head in the clouds. Now it's all about putting out fires etc i.e. bugs, weeding, wild animals as well as keeping them on a well balanced nutritional regimen
