First of all- after countless hours of online research, I've decided that this is by far the most informative, friendly and effective website on said topics. Some of the posters here know their stuff in-depth. I have looked into both the stickies on dilution and substitution and am going to attempt both methods (in case substitution goes wrong.)

I just graduated college a few months ago. In the post graduate limbo of not trying to hard to find a job, and smoking good buds, i (through an 'IN') landed an interview and soon after a job offer. During the interview the H.R manager/recruiter mentioned that if i got the job, i would receive a back ground-check and (they) would have to schedule a drug test. HERE IS MY CONCERN. This is my first 'real job' (my summer jobs during college did not drug test) So what should i expect? Will i be tested during my orientation on my first day of work? Will they schedule me to go to a testing center that day, or later in the week? I am pretty nervous that i will show up on my first day, and bam, drug test sitting on the desk. I will start work Tuesday and am pretty unsure on what to expect.

That being said, i have no chance of getting clean quickly. I am 5'9 and 175 lb's, exercise 4/5 times a week. But i have been smoking everyday for 4 + years now. The past six months i've been smoking like 3, max 5 bowls a day of good bud.

Any input and suggestions would be so greatly appreciated, and thank you.

also, if its any help on the companies practices, they are a property management firm that employs somewhere around 500-700 people, with 60 working in the headquarters office, where i would be working. Also, it is not a salaried position, i will be paid by the hour. It is a drug free workplace.

Just sub. Regardless of whether the test is on-site, sent to a lab, or at a medical facility... the procedure of collection is always the same. You'll go in by yourself, which you can then proceed to do your thing (sub is probably the best method for you in my opinion)

Thanks for the quick response!
In the case of subbing, will it be a problem if i acquire from a person of the opposite sex?

No, federal law prohibits genetic or gender testing on specimens. They can only check for things like pH, creatine, specific gravity, etc to make sure the urine is "real" or not altered.

Quick Fix is a pretty good sub too, since you don't have to worry about immediate use/thawing, bacterial growth, or just the handling of a bio-hazard that is urine.

So i have to take my test within the next 3 days at labcorp. Do they supervise your sample, and how strict are they on temp levels? Also the testing facility is only 2.2 miles from my house, and i have a friend near by that is going to provide my sub. Do you think my temp levels will be alright if i pick it up right before going to the testing lab.

Once i get this job and start making some flow, trust me, i am going to STOCK UP on the quick fix.

Do they supervise your sample

Employment-related U/As are unobserved unless you had been suspected of tampering.

how strict are they on temp levels? The acceptable temp range is 90-100F, as mandated by the DHHS.

Do you think my temp levels will be alright if i pick it up right before going to the testing lab.
A handwarmer pack will ensure that the temp will not drop out of range en route to the collection site. Handwarmer packs can be found at any camping/hunting/sporting goods store.
