Is there anything wrong when I transplant to a larger pot if I cover up the stem a few inches?

I musy have had the light to high when I first started, they stretched about 5 inches or so and I also must not have planted them deep enough as the bend when the fan is on, not all.

If I put them in a bigger pot and bury some of the stem so that the first leaves are only an inch or 2 from he soil and not 5 inches....?

no! that's actually a very good idea...stretching is sometimes something you can avoid, but you can correct it by burying the stem up to about an inch below the first set of leaves. this makes the buried portion of the stem into a feeder root.

how many watts of fluoro are you using now? remember, large increases in light intensity can shock the plant, maybe switch a week before flowering?

well, i'd maybe suggest...depending on where you are, put the plants outside for the daytime, they'll get accustomed to higher intensity light. After a week of that you should be able to put it under the 600watt no problem.

the point i'm tryin to make is that you can't really do it cold turkey... you CAN but the plant(s) will suffer because of it.
