I am 20 days out, high metabolism, fairly lean, but still testing intensely positive on home urine tests (heavy smoker x years). I have 10 more days before my test. I have been out of work for a bit and cannot afford to not have a job for much longer. I am kind of going crazy reading through the forums, but have not been able to find someone doing it for screening at a hospital.
I remember reading some negative things about QuickFix around the forums, so I am trying to find something with a more positive track record. I was wondering if any of you kind souls could share your experiences.

Also, which digital thermometer doesn't beep?
(the one by Vicks makes an awful beeping noise once the temperature is set)
I have been digging through the forums for awhile, but my apologies if these questions have already been answered.

You dont need a digital thermometer. Most synthetic brands already have a temp strip attatched to the bottle. And temp strips can be purchased at your local pharmacy store (sold as baby forehead temp strips). These are essentially the same ones used at the collection facility. While they are not as accurate to the "nth" degree as the digital units, they are obviously accurate enough to merit continued use by the collection facilities.
Just stick the temp strip on the bottle (if the synthetic somehow had not come with one) and thats one less item that you have to sneak into the facility.

Youve just answered your own question at the end of your quote (note the bold and underlined).
And there are many posts throughout the forum from those who have pulled off a successful synthetic sub at a hospital. The Search button is your friend.
