Hi there I live England was looking at a grow room like the one big below to put in a above average sized house. In England the temperature is not very hot and was wandering if the intake and exhaust of the grow room could be in the same house maybe 20 ft apart. I know a dehumidifier may be needed to not attract any attention but this house is also secluded and not in view of anyone. I think this could work as without heating on the housing is not very warm because of the climate and it would be put through a carbon filter so know smell is produced, my main concern also is the heat signature. Any advice is appreciated.

Yep...It will probably help heat the house in the winter. I am assuming there is SOME kind of fresh air infiltration as it sounds like a rather old house???

This is your second thread with pretty much the same question - how to cool your grow room.

I'm wondering - does England spy on their citizenry with FLIR?

Not sure which lights you will be using but if I were worried about getting rid of heat I'd use T5 florescent lights. They work well - I use them for vegging - and for flowering in summer. See your other thread - I've outlined how my operation works. My HPS lights help heat the house in winter - it routinely gets (and stays) below freezing for up to three months. Just the opposite in summer - mid-high nineties - sometimes 100 and above.

With a dark screen over an intake window little else is needed to disguise it, it looks like an open window with a screen inside. For the exhaust you'll of course need the carbon filter. The intake and exhaust can be very close to each other as long as the intake isn't pulling in the exhaust air. You can use the same window as long as the exhaust is pointed up or down - or sideways away from the intake portion. I use a 560cfm fan for pulling air through my grow room and vent it outside with no filter. I don't seem to have much of an odor problem. With that large of a fan I can draw air from any window in the house to the grow room. When its too cold I crack the window in the grow room and 'meter' the air to keep the grow area at a nice 72F.
