Over watered?

Hey guys this is my second attempt at a grow, my first ended miserably. I'd appriciate some advice, my guess is over watering but what do I know. I haven't watered it in probably 3 days and I transplanted it the other day, it seems to still be growing. I thought if it was over watered or stressed it would stunt its growth? I just don't want to kill the little one. Thanks for any help.

I can't tell do da from those pics...doesn't really look like anythings wrong to me. If you can stick your finger in the soil and some sticks to your finger, or if you can pick up the pot and it has some weight to it, don't water. If it's dry, nothing sticks to your finger and maybe some dirt has shrunk away slightly from the pot, or the pot feels lightweight, water it. It's probably better at that age to under, rather than over water it...it will start to wilt when it is under-watered.

It could just as easily be a Ph problem, so make sure of your water going in Ph, your soil Ph, and your overflow Ph. All the time, every time!

I've sure seen some small plant problems, but this is the smallest yet! LOL! Good Luck!

The only reason I was thinking there was a problem with it is how much the leaves started drooping down, thanks for the reply tho.

Your concern is well placed.
That is not a good look for seedlings. :(

If those kids go tits up like the last batch, get back to us.
I may know what the problem is.

I'm not sure what you mean by tits up lol, I think you may be confusing me with someone else. I haven't watered this one in probably 3 days now, I think it has improved slightly, still droopy but not as bad. Would it be a good idea to wait a little longer to see if it improved more or could I go ahead and water it? I obviously don't want to make it worse!

Weezard said 'tits up', it means die. Like as a person laying with their back on the ground and their chest facing up towards the sky. Like sleeping but not really, more permanent.
Weez was referring to your first attempt that 'ended miserably' that you mentioned in the first sentence of your initial post.

Put your finger in some soil that you haven't watered yet and then put your finger in the soil with the plant. If it feels dry as the un-watered soil then add water. It's difficult to tell how big the pot is, but starting out in small containers help to keep from over watering. If you have a little plant in a large vessel it takes a long time for the soil to dry out, almost as long as a pot with no plant.

Why the fan on seedlings? Can dump that pronto. Also why the transplant, what were they in prior to what I'm seeing now? Fill out a "white paper" (detailed description on your set up this was someone may have an idea on how to help).

Why no fan? Isn't circulation good, and building stem strength? I transplanted it because I wanted to try some soil that might have better drainage (which I'm not so sure is working to well), I let it dry out for a few days before transplanting.

Soil: mix of peat, vermiculite, perlite, wetting agent, lime.
Lighting: 4 cfl's around 5 inches away, one fluorescent tube about the same distance.
Tempature: between 75-85.

I watered it today after 4-5 days of no water (soul was very dry) and its back to being very limp, maybe worse then before.I just don't get what I could be doing so wrong. Growing has proven to be quit a challenge so far. I still have one little one that's doing really well and a few seeds germinating so I won't be giving up yet. Any tips would be awesome, I've been reading as much as I can.

I thought I was going to check on it tonight and see it face down in the dirt, but to my surprise its all perked back up and looking wonderful! That makes me happy.:rasta:
