Everclear tincture help.

So I'd like to make a tincture using bho and everclear. I would like to infuse one ounce of the alcohol with one gram of bho.
I was thinking that I could heat the everclear double boiler style to 165-170 and add the bho and cook for 20 mins.
I would decarb the bho first of course.
Would this do the trick?

Hi Icon. I fine the best way to make tincture is to keep it simple. Use trim if you have it, grind it up between your hands and put dry ingredients into mason jar. Fill with clear high proof alcohol of your choice. I find Smirnoff 100 or 80 proof work well and are not as harsh as Everclear. Just fill to your dry ingredients are covered. Shake it a bit and let sit for a few hours. Simmer for an hour and enjoy. I would not use BHO for tincture but that is just me. Good luck.:hippy:
