View Full Version : More amber triches on leaves than buds?

I have white widow plant well into flowering and seems like there's amber triches on leaves coming out of buds but triches on buds are clear. And more amber on certain parts of the plant (ie top) than others. Does this happen and/or is it normal? (Sort of looks like brown sugar sprinkled on the leaves. I'll post a photo later on.)

Yep...still harvest with the normal amount of amber to cloudy trich ratio you prefer. I like Blue widow, which is the WW derivative I grow cut kinda early, so I just cut it when all cloudy. It works, but I also incrementally harvest and then re-veg, so it do get better as it gets older.

I still don't understand. The amber is not spread out consistently. It's only on isolated areas on the leaves and none on the buds. Triches on the buds are clear. (All photos I've seen of mature plants have amber triches spread throughout the other triches.) And some bud leaves (on other branches) have no amber at all. And YES, this is a HERMIE.
You can see brown triches concentrated on edges of the leaves. Confirmed this with 30x magnifying glass, too. (Open photo in new tab for better detail.)

Sure is...stressed to the max also! Wonder if that made it hermie??? Harvest the seed buds that look the way YOU want to see it, smoke it and cure it....most strains that are mostly amber will be couch-lock material. Since it's a hermie, it don't really matter.
