brown roots washs out

12 undercurrent water temp 67 . gh room temp 78 ppm 600 strain Kc Jones light 2 600 .I have some brown roots it seems to wash out. they smell fine earthy not slimmy . this is my first grow. definitely could use some help guys.any input would be helpful
