Last week my current employer announced they have sold the company and the acquiring company needs a drug test from me ASAP. I passed two Walgreens at home tests with first morning urine but those test at a level of 50 ng/ml. I found a mobile test company that came to my house and tested at 15 ng/ml. The technician said I was a pass but since the line was faint he advised that LabCorp (the pre-employment test lab) might flag me for additional testing and/or come back with a positive test since a faint line indicates some THC in the system. I smoked the day before the announcement and almost everyday prior for the past six weeks. I do not smoke much, just a small bowl each day, 3-5 quick hits. I have read the forum and understand the detox, masking and dilute methods are inconsistent. I'm afraid to use a substitute because I don't want to get caught cheating the test. I would rather pass with my own urine and argue that I have my license if I fail. I have not been working out since the announcement because of the advise on this forum and since I have been anticipating taking the test as soon as possible. Should I work out real hard a few days and test again? I have an informal/unofficial extension to take the test later but would rather not use that extension because, in essence, it is implied that I cannot pass the test at this time which is basically admitting that I am hiding something. I have been informed that I can have LabCorp perform a non employment self panel test for me before the real pre-employment test. What is the best strategy for testing negative ASAP? I have been advised to go to GNC and get a good detox but according to this site, water is best. Some of my colleagues in the same boat are going to just wait and test in a week. Others are using masking/dilute techniques and pre-testing with the non employment self panel to determine if they are ready to take the real test. Please let me know your best feedback. I really appreciate your expertise!!

The 'technician' is feeding you alot of B/S here. A "faint" line is still a negative. Even synthetic urine controls (which contain no drug metabolites at all) can produce a faint line on an assay.

All detox products, "masking" agents, etc; "work" because of dilution. That means they "work" because of the water that youre required by the instructions to drink with them. They "mask" by diluting the THC metabolite concentration that is present in the bladder. The same thing can be accomplished for $$$ less by following the steps outlined in N2's Dilution 'sticky' thread.

In short, "detox" products are nothing but a big scam to seperate the credulous from their cash. You can spend up to $250 on a magic elixir, and accomplish nothing different than what can be accomplished using water and vitamin B2.

There is no product that can rid the body of THC, as the product sales pitches would like the consumer to believe. The only proven way to permanently rid the body of THC is time and fat-burning exercise.
