Im a newbie and im wondering if i got scammed

hey,
So i recently just kinda said screw it im bored as f, my grades in school cant get worse i got nothing to lose and got a guy in my english class to hook me up. I made a bunch a cash on the weekend and we set up, on friday, that id give him $30 for 3gs of reg weed. I'm just wondering if this is 3gs.....ALSO I see brown flakes, is this tobacco or something?

So is it 3gs? Is that tobacco in it? also any tips for concealing the smell? Right now i've got it in a plastic bag inside a TAZO tea container thing and it works pretty damn good but I mean in term of after I smoke it when it gets on my clothes. Also, do these guys usually sell zigzags? And would it be easier for me to get a bong or some zigzags. Me going to some conveinience store to get some, even if it was legal for me too (is it? Im in ontario canada) I dont want anyone seeing me there or something. Also should I get a bong or zags? Whats better for a newbie? and ANY other tips would be appreciated

Bless your heart. It's not easy enjoying a good buzz in a place where it's not legal, I understand. In my town, a really good deal is an 8th (3.5g) for $25, for regular bud, not anything with a name I mean. Usually if you don't know the person it's $30 tho. In my opinion, if someone wants you to keep buying from them they'd hook it up a little. It appears to me that maybe your guy is either keeping a super tight budget, or he's doing the opposite of hooking it up. It looks like it could be 3gs once it's broken out, but it's hard to tell when they tie it in those little bundles like that. I suggest you purchase a little electric scale, so if someone tries to hustle you, you can show them you mean business if it doesn't weigh. Also, I'm not sure about the brown flakes, might be tobacco. That's not normal tho, should just be green, with the exception of red hairs and possible frost. If you check out the menus on cannabis websites, you will notice that dank weed in legal places costs the same as regular weed where we are. Hmmmmm

And, you can make a sploof! Get an empty, clean soda bottle. Poke 5 to 10 small to medium sized holes in the bottom of it. Stuff it with nice smelling dryer sheets, and when you take a hit, blow the smoke through it, and it will smell really good!

Also, I think you should get both a bong and papers. Bongs give ya a killer buzz, and papers are good for out and about ! :greenthumb:

Keep up with school, friend! You don't want to fall behind. Pay attention in class, ask a teacher or assistant for help. Just be genuinely interested in learning (or fake it until you actually are interested in learning). It's fun, and keeps you sharp.

I suggest Magic Flight Launch Box if you can afford it and have it sent discreetly. Some head shops might actually have them in stores, too (if you're of legal age to go to them). If you're really in a tight spot, you can always make an Apple Pipe (my friend used to make these for his own use, though I've never used one. He didn't use tin foil like the guy in the video did either). Using an apple might help mask the smell, too, but I'm not sure. Otherwise, get some Febreze (for your clothes and the carpet or furniture where you smoke), ozium if you can afford it (you can find it in the car freshener aisle at retail stores and maybe convenience stores; I'll note that ozium is probably my favorite product, since it completely clears the air). Incense and candles also are nice, and are soothing anyway (though your parents might question why you have them, if you live with parents).

As for whether you were ripped off- most likely. It's hard to tell, but that doesn't look like anything I'd want to smoke. Just don't buy from that guy any more. If you can't find any other sources, you might want to hold off and just focus on studying for now. Personally, I'd rather not smoke at all if my product was questionable. But, I'm more about quality than quantity.

Zigzags, but as for the smell, you could quickly take a shower, spray cologne or any air freshener on yourself, and brush your teeth or if you're too lazy mouthwash. Try to keep in mind that if you can't make the smell go away try to bring out an alternative smell to yourself that sort of covers up the other smell. But really after smoking the only thing that smells is your piece so most likely no one will notice whether or not you reek as long as you wash your piece if you choose to get a bong. But since you're a beginner a bong can cause many difficulties also inexperience can lead to shitty mistakes. It's best to have a friend give you tips and stuff like that before jumping into huge pieces and such. I personally favor the bubbler, a bit easier to carry around.

Bottom line, everyone who smokes pot needs a scale. If you grow it, you need a scale. If you buy it, you need a scale. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get one either. Most headshops have some expensive ones, and cheaper ones for sale. Get one that is at least accurate to .001 or to the thousandths of a gram. It will be an investment on your end and potentially save you a lot of time and frustration for years to come. Zigzags are fine. I prefer hemp paper for spliffs, but I generally smoke out of a waterpipe or a spoon (not the eating utensil.) Also, even though this has been said already: Take your education seriously man. Even if school is not the place where you are getting the best information, make a point to learn on your own time. Reading a book won't kill you, I promise. Many aspects of Life get easier as you continue to learn. Marijuana is not something to take lightly either. It's a powerful medication for healing the body and the mind. You shouldn't use it just because you feel like blowing off school. That is the wrong attitude to have. Since how you have been introduced to Cannabis, take some time to learn more about the history of this wonderful plant, and perhaps use this moment as a catalyst to bettering yourself physically and mentally.

Zigzag? Sure. But an apple works pretty damn well for a day. Just shove a pen down one end into the core, then through the side to the core, ream it out a bit... done.
