so my friend and i found a spot in woods and we were thinking we could just plant some seeds and see what happens. i'm just gonna wait till i find a few seeds in my bud and plant it. now the soil is damp cuz its near a swampy spot, so theres plenty of water. and it's in a small clearing and will get sun. so if i just leave it, and a few plants grow and they end up being female, what should i do? when should i pick the buds? and what kind of quality will i get? i know i wont get top quality but i assume it will be decent if i cure it right. but please let me know what you think

i think you need to do some readin for one. yea you can just toss them out in soil and they may grow as long as they can get a jump on the weeds that will try to take over. put them out now and if they make it they will be all set by fall sometime.
as for exact when and where etc. that depends on the strain and without at least knowing if it is indica or sativa its a crapshoot.

why not? It likely won't work out but it's nothing ventured nothing gained. Even if it's a half-assed shot you will learn something.

You guys are funny. Maybe he just doesn't know what to do? Doesn't mean hes lazy. To answer the question. Maybe just maybe they'll germinate, maybe they'll find the resources to survive as seedlings, maybe they'll have enough nutrients to grow for 4-6+ months and the energy to fight off pests and animals. Maybe after all this your plants will have enough energy to flower and maybe the buds will get fairly big and the stalk and stems will be strong enough to hold those nice buds up. Maybe you can check on them once a month and come back during harvest time... and you MIGHT... just MIGHT get a nice harvest. It could happen... its just a lot of odds against you

well it's not so much that im lazy i just dont really intend to start growing a lot. but my logic is if i have some seeds, i have nothin to lose from planting them, so why not right? but like lets say they grow and dont get killed by other things, what are the chances itll produce decent buds? cuz i know when grown inside to prodce the best product, the amout of light and the air circulation is pretty closely regulated. so in your opinion do you think its likely thay the buds would be worth smoking? and sorry lol unfortunately i dont know if its indica or sativa since i dont even have the seeds yet. i just know that if im gonna plant them i should soon so im tryin to see what people think

Glad to your not lazy, coz it won't take much.you already got the spot. Scouted some of the area, give them a fighting chance and work small spot. Got water handy? At least check for males, possibly tie down the females. Feed once or twice. The more you put in the more you'll get out, lazy was referencing an old thread.:stoned: as always
I agree that pointing out a little bit of reading does not hurt what so ever.

Growing cannabis takes patience, if you don't even have the patience to read for an hour or two, then dont bother in my opinion. Sorry but I dont agree with just throwing them out in the wild and hoping for a harvest, they deserve care!!!
