The Seattle Hempfest 4/20 party last night was a chill affair. About 250 people showed up at the old Giggles nightclub (and Jiggles before that) in Seattle's University District. Inside, people mingled, listened to music, danced, bid on silent auction items. Food and drinks were served. The police and fire department dropped by to keep an eye on things. They seemed satisfied. The food and beverage manager of the club said he was very happy.
I noticed several people smoking electronic cigarettes, both with a nicotine cartridge and a thc cartridge. They were rad. Has anyone else tried them? Did you like it? I would love to read what other people think of this new high-tech delivery gadget.

I smoke regular e-cigs with the nicotine cartridge (mmm... chocolate) but I was unaware that anyone had found a way to make liquid thc that would work in an e-cig. Sure someone wasn't pulling your leg? Because the absorption of nicotine is quite small compared to regular (or analog) cigs, I would wonder how anyone could get a thc concentrate that was the right density for an e-cig.

I thought e-cigs were just nicotine vaporizors. Already possible with THC, but nobody is making the easy/cheap cartridges?

E-cigs are nicotine vaporizors. There are a number of nice, refillable cartridges available. Now, where would you get the liquid thc? It would be nice and portable and easy on the lungs...

E-joint? More like e-one-hitter.
Chick in a shop showed me some pen-style vaporizers just a couple of weeks ago. At least a few of them would accept ground bud, in addition to the normal cartridges of extracts and whatnot.
She said they were shit. At least for toking. They're just one-hitters, it takes forever for them to heat up, battery life (rechargeable or otherwise) is so poor that the extra batteries and/or charger you have to bring along turns portable into a pain.
I should've been a pitch man.
