so as the title says im asking how many lumens you guys think a seedling needs ???? im using CFL's atm and giving 4 new seedlings about 10,000 Lumens so like 2500 each

is this enough?? should I add more or remove some?? im only asking because iv been looking at different threads and answers always vary by allot
also lets keep this in lumens because watts doesn't mean shit varies for every light bulb ^^

thanks in advance :)

5000 lumen per square foot is considered normal.

(Fluorescent tubes with a reflector work best for seedlings)...IMO.

Dutch, funny you mention "reflectors" with the cfl's. Constructed them a year prior. Kinda forget where me doing this comes from but thinking back it coulda been you, GGrown or Canadianhemporer? Again, important things elude me. Here's a 1/2 azz quick shot, had aluminum reflecting slabs cut to order. Kinda difficult to see but with a little imagination? Excellent & efficient/cheapo way to do it..... imho & yours!
