New in box HID lighting, 23 years old - safe to use?

I've been given a 400W metal halide and 1000W HPS new in box. However, the equipment is 23 years old. I know for sure that storage was dry and climate controlled. Can I safely use this equipment? Everything is included, ballast, wiring, sockets and bulbs. It's all beautiful.

Should be good to go...magnetic ballast that's for sure...but if stored the way you said fire it up...and happy growing
