Gonna do Mushrooms next week, got a few questions...

Hey everyone,

I know a lot of you on this site have done mushrooms in the past. I am going up to my buddies cabin next week with 3 other guys, and we are buying some mushrooms (and of course weed). I am just curious as to what is the best amount to be taken. I am 6'4" and weigh 180 lbs if that helps.

I hear you should do an 8th your first time, but I want to hear from the professionals. At his cabin, we will be in the woods with a river in the back of his house and a firepit. Would it be a better idea to sit outside next to the river with a fire going, or sitting inside and listning to music? Also, how long do the effects last?

What measures should we take so we all have a really good trip, and no one freaks out? Thats all I can think of for now. I know this should probably be in another section, but I posted it here because I know the most people would check out the post. Thanks!

that sounds like a really sweet place to trip, 2-3 grams is a safe bet, just get really exited and happy before doing them should last a few hours.

I advise taking an 8th, i also think you should chill and listen to music for like an hour or so and set the mood to be a good trip. When it's all kicking in i suggest going out to the lake and chilling there and smoking some weed, it really emphasizes the trip.

yeah take an eighth but only eat half of them first, wait a few hours to see if you like it, then eat the rest. enjoy there fucking awesome

my first mushroom ex was out in the country as well probably 25 + yrs ago an 1/8 is a good dose just bring lots of beer and enjoy

1. Eat the WHOLE 8th at once, cuz if they arent the best shrooms youll need it
2. Definately have a fire, its awesome to look at while tripping

Man, now I don't know whether or not to eat half of my 8th, wait an hour then eat the other half, or to just eat the entire thing. I have two conflicting posts. Can anyone settle this for me? PS, thanks for all your posts!

Eat the whole thing. Have everyone eat em at the same time. I suggest goin out and chillin with nature while you're fryin. You might find some interesting things :D get a fire started at night, and walk around in the dark with flashlights..........

8th absolutely, That was what I did on my first and I am only 6' 165. Put them on a sandwich, like PB&J, you never taste em'. Anything less than an 8th is a waste. You want to take shrooms to trip, not just to see pretty lights. Take the 8th. And as always. RESPECT THE SHROOMS and they will respect you.
