she took to the new pot real well, the fimmin i did does not seem to phaze her at all. it's growin out nicely.
have decided to build a bubble cloner and whack up the baglady some, to get these girls and some clones on roughly the same time space continuum, lol. she gittin big, likely wouldn't be room to flower her as is, so this'll work dandy....i think.
i'll post up a quick pictorial diy on the cloner...i know, ya seen one ya seen em all, but hey if imma posting imma postin bunches. will link it here once it's up.

I see that the FIM didn't phase her at all, you really DID FIM her (fuck, I missed). All it looks like you did was cut the tips off the leaves, I don't think you got down far enough to split the node. Better luck next time, Bub.

well it's been a couple few days. a few changes too.
the baglady/dude has been culled, including all of its offspring. had some show of hermie, thought i could keep it under control, but alas it was not to be. this will work out better space wise anyhow, and commit more efforts and attention to the deep chunkolate. well that and maters, baccy and brocoli, lol. soon alot more for the garden too.
but on with the show. i'll keep it short n' sweet today, only this am's pix. #1, a group shot and 3 leaf. roots are already starting to show at the ottom of the pots dagnabbit!!
have a look, cya'll next time.

well the girlz seem to be enjoying their new homes and their new positions too. starting the veg in vertical position a couple days ago.
so the pics are 1: just setup for vertical a couple days ago. 2: a couple minutes ago. 3: #1 on the left, #2 on the right. 4: #9 (3 leaf) on the left, and #10 (also fimmed same time as 3 leaf) on the right. yep i definatelt fimmed the fucking fimjob on both of em lol. missed em both but meh no matter they growin nice. and i say again these babies smell sweeet!!!!!

pics from this morning. girlz are doin fine.
group, #1, #9(3 leaf) shots from the sides to show heights today
gave them week 2 of nutes for veg scedule yesterday at lights on.
also lowered the 1k and adjusted positions accordingly.
so here's a question, in all my years of gardening and such, it has always worked best to water in the evening.
but with this, all advice given is to water at lights on.
why? is it just to prevent damping off?
i always let them flow out as they need to then lift them from the trays and dump the trays out so they have a quicker wet dry cycle anyways.
which doesn't seem to matter for squat anyhoo cuz they are only drinking once a week, give or take a day.
well whatever is happening, they seem to be doing fine with how i look after em.
same goes for all the others too. tobacco, tomato, brocoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts, and some leaf lettuce.
can't seem to get any kind of peppers to germ though which sucks. japs, bananas or 4 kinds of bells.

i believe the thinking behind watering at lights on is to make sure it gets a chance to dry and not get moldy

with mornings its got the whole day to take the food in so its meant to be better for growth, iv heard that chopping should be done at night too as everything, toxins any left ova nute ect sits in the roots during ur dark period and only travels up the plant when exposed to light.. maybe the two are connected if u know what i mean. but then, this is what iv heard..

yeah thats what i thought, to prevent damping off. but it kinda makes no sense if every other plant does fine.....meh just overthinkin it lol.

well that sorta makes sense i guess. but wouldnt a more gradual feed rate equal better saturation then? if fed in evening. so my thougts are that the root system would be better saturated with feed or water prior to being hammered by light. i know it works that way outdoors for veggies, lawns and flowers, in my experience. well like i said prior, prolly just over thinkin on it.
thanks fer the reply high!!!

hehehe hadn't even considered the timing of the chop yet, lol

i would agree, half hour before lights come one would be sweet timming, but unless its on a hydro and feeding timers how are you going to feed without breaking the dark/light cycle? i think they prob say 1st thing coz its easyer and more practical and as close as ur gonna get it unless you have said equipment..
no worries buddy, i said i was in for the ride :)

update continued,
made a charcoal filter, similar to others hence no build log, easy nuff. 8 inches down to 6 inches, bout 18 inches overall height.
filter in pieces, filter together 2 pics, then a group shot from yesterday, then the filter in place.
girls were given week 3 nutes this morning, next week they will flip to bloom. they are doing fantastic as all can see, and certainly they are enjoying basking in the vertical glow of 1000 watts.
oh, and also built an ONA bucket for odor control today, wow what a difference. anyone wants pics just say so and i'll post em
also, a sidenote, all veggies and tobacco were removed from the room to prepare for next weeks flip. they reside elsewhere under flouro's now.

meh call me a post whore or pic whore if ya like.
decided to snap a couple piccys of the ONA bucket before lights out, lol.
closed up, open, and the innards.
i used a 5 gallon bucket, a honeywell fan, duct tape, 100 grams of soil moist, 1/3 cup of ONA, and 2.75 quarts of water.
stir and enjoy!!! it works a charm!!!

hey yeah they been flipped now starting week 3 yesterday. been extreme defoliating weekly. got 8 girlz out of the 10 plants. lovin the vertical grow. with the fan under the light, plants are as close as 3-6 inches at times, very cool to the hand put in front of the light.
i took photos all along just havent made the time to post updates. should do so soon.

sounds good man! being 3 weeks in you should be seeing some magic happen right about now then  looking forward to the update!
don't strip too much leaf tho, they need a certain amount to get the chemical balance right to produce nugs, take too much and she will concentrate on leaf reproduction than nug production. also not too much at a time u dont wanna shock her into turning hermi. u might have already known this but i thought i would mention just incase, nothing worse than a hermi man lol from experience.

Hey man nice pics. I'm new to the forum and new to the grow game as well.
I'm a total novice and in uncharted territory here, can I ask how long you keep them under a veg light and what is the hrs set up ?
