View Full Version : Air volume inside bong

With some bigger bongs, it seems like there is so much air inside the bong that my lungs are already half full by the time the smoke actually makes it to my lungs.

Sometimes if I time it right, I can stop the bong rip, exhale, then get a pure smoke hit. It definitely seems to hit harder like that.

So I'm wondering, maybe I should be seeking out a bong that has as little air inside as possible? Maybe a thin neck and maybe a smaller or no bubble at the bottom?

What are your thoughts?

Just match the air volume of the bong to the air volume of your lungs. Try different sizes and you will quickly find the one that's right for you. I have big lungs and use an 18" Tokemaster. For me, it's a perfect hit every time, while it chokes my weaker lunged friends! Lung capacity can vary greatly from person to person, thus the many different sizes of bongs.
