Can smoking a blunt and using a bong like item increase your high ?

So I have asthma ( which barley effects me at all ) an I have my bud rolled in a blunt and I want to spark my blunt, put the cherry part in the tube ( which has a side to inhale from and a side to put in my inhaler) (I haven't used it in years) inhale from the blunt side, then from the excess smoke of the cherry pull from the front side of the tube in which your supposed to inhale from. Will this give me an increased high or is it just too much effort to be putting in a should I just smoke my weed ? In the tube it will trap an hold the smoke.

do a little readin about blunt wraps and any kind of tobacco and asthma. you might not dig them so much. does your herb taste that bad? i dont get the fascination with them. just me i guess.
