Yes, its true. I now have a kid. Born at 3:47, Lyndsey (did you think I'm gonna say the last name) was 7 pounds 2 ounces. everything was done at home witch made it all much more confortable for everyone. Now, my wife's asleep and I am sitting here still dazed. The baby must be under care for a couple of days before it is certain there are no major medical problems. So far everything has been 100 percent OK. The labour was luckily, relatively, short and no c-section was needed as is the case for many first child births. All is well and I am a daddy. :)

Congrats Llamaman. My daughter, also Lindsay (so how did it take you to decide how to spell it? :), was born almost two years ago. Being a Daddy is the greatest thing I have ever done. I wouldn't miss it for all the bud in the world. The first time you hear her say "Daddy" your heart will just melt man. Now I just wish she wasn't yelling it over and over every morning at 5:00am.

LOL, I feel ya man, I love my little girl, but I miss being able to sleep past 8 in the morning. When was yours born? My daughter (Fiona) is turning 2 on May 14.

Peace and congrats llama.
