ok heres the problem. i have an old 400 magnetic ballast i got from a friend who got it from some shop that was going out of business. the bulb that was in the ballast was a 360 watt bulb. and it works but is old and i would like to replace it. i bought a new 400 watt m 59 bulb, which the ballast says to use. when i put it in it wont start up at all. theres an extra tiny light in the ballast that lights up instead. this little bulb doesnt light up when the 360 buld is in. o and the 360 watt bulb said it was a u/ss? insrtead of the m 59 im supposed to have i guess.
